Because they basically removed Sectors. The only thing there is not is that Sectors act like Duchies in CK2 wherever you appoint a Governor it affects the whole Sector not just a single planet.
You can always read the patchnotes for more info.
But I can't modify them and the AI does nothing to them.
This kills the game for me. I can't be expected to manage dozens of planets/habitats
When I was playing, I have gone to the sectors screens and I saw there that the sector ai is disabled by default, but that you can enable it by clicking on the disabled ai button.

Hi guys,
A table was updated for version 2.2.1 (Stellaris Megacorp). Please look at the first post.
Thank you for being patient.
I am calling it preliminary because I have not fully explored the game yet.
Cheers!
"Quick Population Growth" - apparently this does not work for the assembly of robots in machine empires. In biological empires, the population grows every month.
The table for version 2.2.1 was updated. Machine was inclued in the "Quick Population Growth". It takes a month only.
Cheers!
Cool.
Neither quick ship nor quick building seem to have an effect on planetary buildings with machine empire.
Actually quick building doesn't seem to work at all for machine.
edit 3: I'm not sure what actually DOES work for machine empire - hive mind too.
Here is a test version of my new extension. I'll try and update it with more functionality later, but here's what I got so far.
Let me know if there are any issues. There shouldn't be anything crazy though.
There's a beta 2.2.2 "stellaris_test", with a lot of fixes. They may update it a few times before pushing it to release.
Just fyi, I'm not asking for a cheat table.
