edit: derp, im referring to quick building of megastructures, it doesn't seem to work for me since 1.8

Hey guys, i've noticed that for the last few patches, "instant building of ships" or "instant building of structures' has no effect on the first construction phase of megastructures, the "station" part of them, that the constructor ship builds directly. before 1.8 they worked just fine, and you could build a megastructure instantly, then rush it's progression via the "selected megastructure info" tab.
is there a way to make building megastructures instant again? because they kind of take a really long time lol, if anyone has a workaround, or an idea of how to fix this i'd appreciate it.
Quick building of mega-structures stops working after a while, but it should work at the start of the game. Can anyone help figure out when it starts failing? I'm looking for a solution but need more data.
