Does anyone here know/remember the way to grant yourself more skill points for your hero?
I recall it involved changing the number of used skill points not the number of current points available.
However, I do not quite recall the steps nor can I find the old guide for doing so.

Sorry for not having the answer, I wanted to second this request. Actually quite surprised Reci didn't have a minimum Skill Points or something like that in the table.

How to use this cheat table?

1. Install Cheat Engine
2. Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
3. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
4. Keep the list.
5. Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

I figured it out. A lot less work to do than AoW3. Just look up your current amount, buy one cheap thing and confirm, scan new number, etc till you get the string of code in cheat engine and bam!

is it possible for someone to make pointer style table for directly editing stuff rather than bulk cheating or someone is kind enough to add these options.

If I edit skill points does my character get extra skill points on level up still?
I mean if I cheat to have 10 skill points on level 2 and when my hero hits to level 2: will I get 5 skill points or zero?

No clue why not try it out for yourself. You should be able to edit xp and level also so not sure it matters either way. Let me know if it works.

Any possibility of an update for 1.404?

Edit: Table attaches and works if you remove all godmode references from the script, not sure why. If you don't remove all godmode references then it'll crash the game during manual combat.

Which table are you referring to, please? The one on page 1 of the thread?
And which items need to be deleted - is it enough to delete god mode?
