There's no need to apologize. You're doing a lot of work, on your own it seems. So thank you for that.

I tried the new CT, and I still seem to be getting the same issue. I added the Custom LUA first, then checked "getHoveredItem_with_FName", and then "getNameStuff." I then got
"GUObjectArray not found, running scanner...
FNamePool not found, running scanner... "

After a while, nothing happened. It just kept listing a string of numbers and letters. Then it said:
Using hardcoded FNamePool offset
GUObjectArray not found, running scanner...
54.4
Finding /Script/CoreUObject...
FNamePool parsed...
505"

Somewhere in there I picked "manually set offset". Even though it says FNamePool parsed, when I hover over any items, it's not giving names for them.

At the moment, it's saying this (I think it may be done scanning):
"GUObjectArray = 7FF6E309A0F0
FNamePool parsed...
1D0BF820
18
18
done

AOBScan done : 963.497"

None of this really makes any sense to me honestly, so I am including anything that seems like it may be worth mentioning.
It looks like if it has the FNamePool hardcoded it does eventually find GUObjectArray, although if it really takes 16 minutes that's a bit painful. I can try hardcoding the GUObjectArray like I have with the FNamePool. I doubt it'll fix the issue but it's worth a try.
Try this table (fli_012_beta1) and see if manually setting both FNamePool and GUObjectArray offsets works.

If it doesn't work:
After running it, Is the getNameStuff script either Enabled (X), Processing (circle), or Disabled (blank)? (same with Debug / Backup -> Cake-san's UE Helper table, v7.3 hotfixed -> Unreal Engine)
If it's disabled, right click the script and there should be an error message at the top of the context menu.
If it's processing, that means it hasn't finished searching for stuff, which if that takes too long (more than a couple of minutes) it's probably stuck.
If it's enabled, then it should all be working.
Please copy-paste the whole LUA script output into spoiler tags ( [ spoiler ] paste [ /spoiler ] without spaces in the [])
Mine looks like this:

Generating Name List, this may take a while...
It's possible that UE5 has some significant code differences for certain platforms / architectures, in which case there's little I can do from this end.
I have now got the table to work. But when I go to change the value of the object/armor/etc., sometimes it will just freeze. The "change value" tab comes up and I can type things into it, but it's very slow, and it will not allow me to cancel, nor will it allow me to press OK. It's just stuck. The only way I can get out of it is by closing Cheat Engine completely. And then I have to close the game completely as well, because for whatever reason, I can't activate any of the scripts if I close and then reopen Cheat Engine. Do you, or does anyone, know what's going on and how to fix it?

How to use this cheat table?
  1. Install Cheat Engine
  2. Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
  3. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
  4. Keep the list.
  5. Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

Is Item Gain Multiplier broken? I have tried using it but it won't give me any result.
Does this work with trees, ores, monster drops?
Is there something I need to do?
DrummerIX Item Gain Multiplier is working as intended.
Kill a monster, if a monster don't drop anything, there's nothing to multiply.
If a monster does drop something, it is not displayed on-screen, but you will see it is multiplied in your bag.
Thank you! I didn't check my bag if it's multiplying because the item drop only says x1 always.

Also, will this item gain multiplier "multiply" quest/key items?

The reason you need to restart the game if you close Cheat Engine without disabling scripts is because of how scripts work:
The game has its code, suppose when you use an item the code to decrease the value is like this:

Code: Select all

function use_item:
  load item
  item = item - 1
function something_else:
  ...
With a script, we're changing what that use_item code does. But there's only two lines, and we want more than that, e.g.

Code: Select all

load item
if item is not important:
  item = item - 1
which is three lines, and won't fit without overwriting function something_else. So instead, we find some empty space somewhere, and define our custom code there:

Code: Select all

function use_item:
  go to function custom_use_item
function something_else:
  ...
...
function custom_use_item:
  load item
  if item is not important:
    item = item - 1
When you enable the script it searches for the original code and replaces it with the new code. Disabling the script replaces it with the original code. If you restart Cheat Engine without disabling scripts, then when it searches for the original code it can't find it, so just does nothing.

As for the freeze...
When you say "change the value of the object/armor/etc" do you mean specifically the Name/ID or FName field?
If it's an FName field, does it already have a value in? If it has nothing in it, do not change it. Even if that thing is the word "None", that's fine - but if it's blank or says "Err: FNameStringAlgo required" then something has gone wrong.
Has "getNameStuff" completely finished (red X instead of spinning circle)?

Just now as I was investigating your issue, the very same thing happened to me - it got stuck in the Change Value box, had to force close everything. This is the first time it's happened to me, and restarting everything it worked again despite doing exactly the same steps.
I suspect the CE process is busy (i.e. it's already doing something in the background) which might mean it's stuck in a loop somewhere... that might be tricky to narrow down.
Does this happen every time? If you right click on the FName you want to change, Set/Change dropdown, and remove the line in there (e.g. (FNameSkillDropdown) ) does the slowdown/freeze still happen when typing in Change Value?

I don't know, I have never used this cheat.
But I believe you can answer your own question by checking the bag. Key items don't need to be multiplied as you need only quantity 1 of each.

It's working perfectly fine, and it shows the name of the object, the quality, etc.. But whenever I try to change the value, of the name (changing it to what I want), the quality (like changing to Top or Legendary), etc., it usually works the first time, but then when I go to do it the second time, the Change Value tab shows up for me to change it, but it just freezes. I can type in the Change Value tab and everything. It works fine (it's stuttering when it acts this way though), but it won't allow be to X out of it, press Cancel, or press OK. It recognizes I am hovering over all of those buttons, and it seems to even register me clicking the buttons, but it does not follow through. It happens on both CE7.6 and 7.5 (I found that your script runs a lot smoother on 7.5, so I am using that).

Yes, it seems to happen every time. The only way I can get the script to work right is to hover over items I already have and just copy those. I can't really generate something I don't have unless I want to risk CE freezing.

Everything else works just as it is supposed to. It's just the Change Value tab. And just to add, getNameStuff is done running when it happens. I don't touch any of the values when it's still going through the process.

Nothing else on my laptop acts slow or freezes. The game does not either. No stuttering or freezing in any other process running. I have even ended all processes except for the game itself and the Cheat Engine.

I have not yet tried changing the set/change. I will try that. Thanks

Thanks
I am very new to this kind of stuff. Can you explain what you mean, how you did it, etc.?

Does anyone know how to give any of the legendary materials in multiplayer? Or the Legendary Time weapons/tools? Or is there a way to make things spawn that will drop those materials? I have the game on Switch 2 and Steam. I am trying to give the items to my Switch 2 playthrough. When I try to trade them, they're greyed out, and it says they cannot be given yet.

That helps narrow things down a bit.
Since it also happens on the quality, that means it isn't directly the fault of my FName type, though it's possible the FName stuff is taking up so many CPU cycles the thread that controls it is unable to do anything else.
I'll keep investigating.

The two things you mention - name and quality - use dropdown menus. Does the issue only happen on those, or does it happen on every field (e.g. quantity)? You mention being able to change known items - I assume this is via the Name / ID (i.e. hex value directly), which doesn't have a dropdown, and you're accessing it via pressing Enter instead of Change Value?

Since you mentioned 7.6 doesn't run as smoothly, I decided to finally install that version... and I figured out why some people can't find FNamePool!
The original script I've borrowed from finds the area to scan, and during that function they add quotes to the process name, so that NFL1-Win64-Shipping.exe becomes "NFL1-Win64-Shipping.exe"
In CE 7.6 though, the process name returned from getNameFromAddress already has quotes, so they now add quotes to become double quotes, which then breaks stuff further down the line.
The best part? At least in CE 7.5 you don't even need the quotes, so removing the added quotes doesn't even break the old script.

Doesn't help with the Change Value freeze, which I have only had happen once and not been able to reproduce, but at least it's something. I'll upload fli_012 soon, just gotta shift some formatting stuff.

It runs the cheat just fine. It even gives me the item I ask it to. The problem is when I try to change the values. I cannot do it manually.

I don't recall which other fields it happens in, but I'll give it a shot again in just a bit. I have not really used the Quantity field much to be able to tell if it happens there. I think it's only in the fields where there is a dropdown, like where you have a list of names of other skills, item names, and whatnot. I'll do some more digging soon and give you a more clarified answer and some examples.

That seems like a big, and very odd, change for CE to make. At least in my opinion. I don't really do much with CE but it seems like making it so that quotes are necessary seems like a big change.

I'll try out the fli_012 also and see if that may help with the freezing.

Is there a way to extend buff time, possibly infinite? It's fine if the buff still gets replaced when another one is used, but having to push r as a mercenary/wizard to maintain their buffs is annoying. Would also be nice for combat buffs that are on a timer, like alchemy potions and food, to be honest.

Hello.
Cook Chef's Special, Blacksmith Heavy Strike, Carpenter Hop 'n Chop, Tailor Sewing Machine, Alchemist Quick Mix, Artist Inspired,
Each of them automatically completes 3 crafting actions. I found a way to make them auto-craft forever.
This works well with DrummerIX "Special Skill Always Full", essentially you have auto-crafting. Enjoy!

If you don't have those auto skills yet, you can still you use this:
