How to use this cheat table?
  1. Install Cheat Engine
  2. Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
  3. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
  4. Keep the list.
  5. Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

I think this just makes it so the stats you input won't get overwritten if you acquire another buff. It doesn't resolve the part where the game accounts for your level and knows you should have fewer attribute points invested.

I think you misunderstood. The script is for changing the base stats directly without having points or prevent the stats from being 'reset' on a reload, there's NO WAY to fix the negative "issue" because that's how the game works.

It's the same with ability points, from what I could see.

Has anyone had any luck with figuring out the pointer to use for the Game Pass version of this? I've changed the win64 to wingdk and spent the last few hours searching but I can never seem to find the actual pointer/address to change available points and make it stick.

Get the latest table, then click Items Don't Decrease. Craft or gather the resource over and over and you should be golden. Just got my grimoire up to max doing this with the basic materials since they all seem to just build off the first ingredients you gather.

AI told me this, though I didn't try yet.

Open the cheat engine.
- Click on the computer icon in the upper left corner.
- Select the text of the game `Avowed-Win64-Shipping.exe `from experience.

2. **Add the address manually:**
- Click on the button **"Add address manually"** (red arrow with white color).
- Open the window and check the box **"The pointer"**.

3. **Enter the offset index:**
- In the **Address** field, enter the base address:
`Universally recognized-Win64-Shipping.exe+097E4AC0`
- Click **Add Offset** two to add two objects:
- First offset: `110` (in hexadecimal format).
- Second option: 'F8' (external format).

Example of the final index:

It's the same with ability points, from what I could see.
There is a way, sort of, when you set your stats, click the square next to them to lock the value, this will work per game session. You can then setup a hot key on each one (make it the same key) to set the value you want, and to lock it, press it after you're in your saved game and presto. ((while its not as nice and easy as having them permanent, it does get the job done))

I'd like to know this too; trying to figure this stuff out on my own always makes me feel so dumb :oops:
