I don't have access to changelog yet ( my patreon is banned ), will update this post once the public release is out.

It's generally available to the public as well.
In some regions, clicking the CE 7.5 download link gets you the CE 7.6 installer already.
Please note the file name will be still containing 75 - check file properties to see if you got the 7.6 release to be sure.

So our options are to either get malware or pay Dark Byte money to download cheat engine.

Compiling it ourselves is also out of question as cheat engine is closed source proprietary paid software now.

Having tried it, it is buggy, slow, and unstable. I went back to 7.5, as have many I speak with.

Aside from all this gossip and everyone voicing out their opinion, just cuz.. do you really need 7.6? And please don't sell me the classical "7.6 is better than 7.5 cuz it's newer".. Thanks for the heads-up, but unless you are some table maker who heavily uses Lua and somehow 7.6 Lua has more useful functions than 7.5 Lua.. then I don't see the point in even thinking of "upgrading".
