You need to decrypt the profile.json file first. Look at this post viewtopic.php?p=355166#p355166 to help you out with that.
Then to make formatting easier, I would download Notepad++ and install a few plugins that come with it. That information can be found at this post viewtopic.php?p=399925#p399925
Remember to always make a copy of your profile.json file before making any changes.

They are currently broken for everyone, I honestly would not try to "Fix" them in fear that when Gameloft fixes them it breaks your save. If you insist, please back up your save if you figure it out.
Part of me thinks the reason you can't get them to work is because it's broken internally for everyone.

But I should mention the game that I am using is a pirated cracked version I got from steamrip for testing purposes for my own personal use to practice with modding I'm a noob at it haha. I have my main account that I paid for on the console. I do appreciate your feedback since the game is cracked and is offline I am unable to access the storybook vale because of the letter you get in the mail for merlin not sure how I would be able to initiate the quest without being online. Would you know a way to to do it or is it even possible. Thanks for responding. Have a wonderful day.

You would need to find the specific Wishing Well you are looking for. In the KOSDDV file, if you do a search in column B (Name) for "FastTravelWell", it will pull up the Item IDs for each Wishing Well. Once you find the one you want to fix, search for it in the JSON, and then follow my advice in my prior prost. Hope this helps!

Before you try this, please make a copy of your current JSON file so you can revert back to it if this doesn't work.
You may be able to unlock Storybook Vale by entering this number "2070001110" under the "MissionsCompleted" section of the JSON. If it works, you should be able to access Storybook Vale via Stardust Port in the Castle.
There are tasks associated with this quest, but maybe they will be completed already. You will know it worked if Merida has a quest for you, you have the Royal Net, and the first story re-order puzzle has been done.
If it didn't work, simply revert back to the prior JSON file.
Did they patch the ability to dig up storybook magic? I had a friend come over and they couldn't do it
why do you need to dig? just give them snippets..
I was able to fix the issue. As for giving them snippets, that takes a lot longer compared to having them dig. I tried it before and I had to make many trips. Having friends dig it up is just much easier for me.
So now that the save editor is not working for some saves, does anyone know how I might add items to a save file? I have two different accounts. It works for my save on one of my accounts, but not the other. I tried it with a friend as well, and it does not work with theirs. But it works with my sister's. So it seems like it works with some accounts, and not others. My assumption is, it has to do with when your save was created (if it was created before the most recent major update). It's just a guess.
How do I add all clothing, furniture, pets, etc., without having to do them one by one?

Easiest thing to do is find a crafting recipe that uses 1 item. Change that to 0 and craft whatever you want.
