so [...] meanwhile I can say the following:
i'm trying to find out an address, but it keeps changing.
a good solution is the pointer scan.
there are many tutorials on youtube but they always have one thing in common:
the game shown in the example is always in windowed-mode and runs permanently/parallel
(as a reduced screen) to cheat engine.
with my steam-based game
(star wars: empire at war - forces of corruption expansion - Thrawn's Revenge 3.1 Expanded)
it is NOT possible to do this at the same time.
even in windowed-mode the game "freezes" as soon as i edit something in cheat engine
or write something down in a text document - even if i do NOT pause the actual game manually.
if i use the option
* "Find out what accesses this address" [F5]
* [Confirmation -> Yes]
* and then the action/parameter window opens "The following opcodes accessed XXXXXXXX"
absolutely NOTHING is displayed in the table.
i can't find any addresses. not because i'm not clever for this,
but because as i said - nothing is displayed.
i think this is related to the "sleeping".
only I can't get a steam-game to run at the same time "in the foreground".
also i find it very unfortunate that none of the developers have responded to my message requests,
although the mod is kept up to date and regularly receives new updates.
i ask you for help and possible solutions.
THANKS!
