Check it out later. Works before in the previous early access
Something broke with 1.0 I would assume. Even on fresh saves and deleting old saves, if I click on Mode Save Data once, without clicking or doing anything else, my soul stone count goes to 2 billion or something and then into the negatives. And then when I click to enter Mode Save Data again, doesn't open, no matter what I tried.
Thank you very much for the table though. It's awesome.

It work just fine for me edit the Soul Collected one
btw is there any stats editor that stick permanently? try several of them but it all reverting back
I'm having the issue with souls as well.
I have a negative number, and changing the souls collected doesn't seem to fix it.
I can sometimes get it to show the edited value if I go back to the castle upgrade screen and back to the dock, but if I go into the building with the soul shop, it hits a massive negative again.
EDIT:
I've tried quitting and restarting the game. It's showing my souls being the last amount I edited.
However now I can't activate the Player Save or Mode Save sections.
So it works for some and some are having issues. That means there's nothing wrong with the pointer. Its all comes to the end user. I have checked the pointers, the offsets are correct but I need to recheck again later whether there is something causing this. I'm abit busy at the moment to check it out but will definitely look into this when I have the time .
Edit: So I've just made a quick test and the results is.. I have no issues on my side even with the saves as well.. I've only edit this during the game play and not while upgrading anything. Are you guys using the Mod Save Data editor? You ONLY need to use this. Do NOT change in the Player Save Data/Cache sub which also have the 'Souls Collected'. I did not touch that.

If you have used the previous last early access and it works fine without any issue but then in the full release you are facing this issue is perhaps something changed. Perhaps it's intended that way if the hack is detected or it could be anything that's causing it. Another thing is are you people using steam or non steam version. Try editing this in the steam and non steam and see whether the effects are the same.

I didnt actually have an Early Access Savefile. Bought the Game on Steam 1 Day after Full Release.
I'm having some troubles even expanding the Mode Save Data record.
The rest expand just fine, and accessing the Player Save Data after navigating to the pause screen, is working. but I cannot expand the Mode Save Data tree. Pressing the shortcut just states "Mode Save Data Deactivated" each time.
This has happened on other tables for other games and I never know why some expand and some don't.

Try activating this at the main menu before continuing a save. Not during the game play. See if activates. If it does, then load your save and see whether it populates.
So I figured out how to get mode and player modifications working. Start Game -> Continue legacy -> go into castle -> Activate both mode and player editor (they will have ?? as values) -> Return to the main menu - Select save and hover over the save you want to modify -> Check the table it will be populated.
