For what I should seek in pointerscan of mono games?

Anything Cheat Engine related, bugs, suggestions, helping others, etc..

For what I should seek in pointerscan of mono games?

Do I still need to find ".exe" of the game for finding pointers, or I need to seek for mono.dll?
