Check the video, if you've done everything perferctly it should be working, if not, try from scratch.
Regarding the bans, they probably ban depeding on what you got caught with, banwaves are permanent, small abuses are weekly/monthly, CE getting caught / bypass script getting caught without cheating probably a day.
Keep in mind all of this is public, so yeah devs can plug the leaks since they perfectly know how it works, it's safe to assume that the safiest way to cheat is to avoid cheating, this is probably gonna be the kind of game where telemetry is as near perfect as nintendo's where you get flagged doing the smallest thing that shouldn't be done, especially since the anti-cheat is deep in the systemm.
Use at your own risk guys, I used some without abusing and we all lost the right to complain the moment we launched the bypass script.

I've same problem like you, so weird it's not a ban, you can use this account log to another server without any problem.
I play new account and let see tomorrow.
I guess the mere use of cheat engine makes you ban, the second reroll account I used never used a cheat, simply cheat engine launched with a bypass, no cheats were turned on, and it got banned for a month too.
I guess it's safe to assume that launching cheat engine while the game is running will end in a ban, so use at your own risks
Since CE is detectable. Let us wait for some mods instead. In a few weeks if not months maybe the devs calm down by then just like GTAV. For now, why don't we just enjoy the game like a proper players we are?

ESP Chest still working. the CE Bypass is not detected, just their function to check the cd & dmg to get accounts banned.
I don't know they will take action into the ESP or not since it's quite not useful much as other. But make sure check all the function with alt account everyday :v

is there esp for oculus too? i am missing 5 anemoculus XD too lazy to start from 1-65 again haha
anemoculus doesn't have a highlight when you get close to it unlike chests, so I am guessing it would be very hard to make ESP for it if not impossible.

cheats used:
stamina and no cd (3days)
speed hack (few second, accidently activated)
esp chest, rapid fire, instand bow charge (for a minute, testing)
never go to spiral abyss once
