Requesting an "Stop pursuit counter/no pursuit" & "Always positive checks for officer' skills at landing missions" options.
And "No ship weapon cooldown" also. Because small ships battle is just bad.

I agree with krmit. Would be nice to see those options.

Yeah, getting sick and tired of this pursuit thing. Just kills the fun of the game when you're constantly being denied access to everything.

It would also be pretty awesome if there was some way to give an officer (or all officers) all 9 skills. Would make ground missions nice and easy.

Try using this "table" (in quotes as it only changes 1 byte in mem), which enables Debug Mode.

Load game
Load table
Menu bar > Mono > Activate mono features
Enable script

Pressing LAlt+LShift+LCtrl+D+G enables Debug Mode. F1 for Debug commands.
Made for 1.0.1 game version.

Alternatively you can all just edit savegame, as it's only base64 encoded.
