Firefox tagging downloads as malware.

Post by zolambarkudak »

I checked for multiple tables including couple of my old tables that got migrated here from old forum. So far everything got tagged. (windows 10-1903 // Firefox Quantum 67.0.4)

Looks like site is blacklisted as a malware peddler. You may want to do something about it, or not.

I've got chrome too, both browsers do the same for me. Something's changed on the browers' malware detection, I think.

i found chrome doing the same thing the last few days, googling didnt really bring up an answer on how to fix it except on older versions, actually tried chromes help page and found the work around.
once you get told no, click on customize and control google chrome button (the 3 dots in my version in the top right), select downloads, it'll bring up your downloads including the refused one, and you can select to keep the download, you'll probably get another "are you sure you really want to" type box explaining why it might be bad, just select to keep it again, then you should be good

On CEF I added a check to see if the first few bytes of an uploaded files contained the zip or rar file header
