Question About pointers. (Arizona Sunshine)

Hey so last night i watched a video on how to make pointers since i was wanting one for Arizona Sunshine for Ammo but i ran into some problems.
What happen was this. After doing the normal scan to find the amount of Ammo i had i got giving one address and it was the ammo since i reloaded to make sure it was and all that from there i followed everything that is talked about in the Video i have linked above. But when it came to finding the pointer i got nothing but so i just tried changing the Ammo from the Address i find and the game crashed.
Does anyone know if you can even do this for Arizona Sunshine is my main question and if you can what did i do wrong.
