Hello, I just need help with a question I have about SteamDB: Does it count as an "official" game source? I know that in their website, they wrote that they're not affiliated with Steam, but I just need to know this.

No it’s not.
If you’re referring to putting it in request template then you can just ignore it if the game doesn’t exist on steam

ok, after some curiosity, I found something about SteamDB in reddit, and is that you can use SteamDB as a reference for a command in the official Steam console command named "download_depot", but I don't know if this counts as official game source (the act of downloading an older version of a game you own through Steam console commands) or not. if the reddit source is needed, just tell me.
