It is just in the Dark World.

I know, it works for the 3 main characters. Game saves are not shareable and I don't have the time to play through to get to them, sorry.

Unlimited health does not work on the Shadow Mantle miniboss, I can still die from it somehow

Maybe it's a one hit kill mechanic? Not sure. What characters do you play during that fight and what chapter?
