is it possible to just extract a table, like the good ol' days, if we don't want to use the blasted app?

friggin' autocorrect...
it should say 'basic' app. and the fearless app is basically a wrapper for the tables. CE is still at the core, it just dumbs it down for everyday users. which is fine, unless you're a code monkey and want to actually work under the hood like we used to. then we want a table.

It's not a hidden thing that the app uses CE elements since it literally has a Thank You to DarkByte in the app.
