The main table definitely activates for 2.6.2.

How to use this cheat table?
  1. Install Cheat Engine
  2. Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
  3. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
  4. Keep the list.
  5. Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

thanks for that info mulrich, but it definitely doesn't activate for 2.6.2. Definitely activated as expected, and still does, for 2.6.1. Can't imagine any agenda behind making this up.

Did you download the fixed table from the first page?
Only the latest version contains the correct aob for both 2.6.1 and 2.6.2.
There have been multiple versions of the 2.6.1 table; only the most recent one works. Just redownload to make sure.

LegendZero88, activate "console allowed in iron man", look for the name of the research that allows you to increase your administration capacity (it's called Administrative Efficiency) and type research_technology *tech name/id* (tech name/id in this case is tech_repeatable_improved_core_system_cap ).
i suggest you take a look at the wiki for console commands. not sure how that command works exactly but if you can set it to something like 50, you should be able to make an empire that can encompass half of a large galaxy. if you need any other tech researched, just google the list for tech id's in stellaris and you'll find it.

After rolling back to 2.6.1 and then rolling forward to 2.6.2, the updated table appears to be working now. I had also cleared out the existing two tables and replaced with a new download of just Mar 23, and it's now working. So one or both of those did the trick.

Same answer as the resource pointers. They 'should' work fine with vanilla stellaris but as soon as there are mods in play they are no longer reliable.

The good news is that if it's not properly working for vanilla stellaris any more there are plenty of other ways to skin that particular goat.

And if none of the trillion mods that deal with fleet & starbase capacity are to your liking you can always edit the relevant vanilla files yourself. And then use the extensions modded achievements override.
