In:

steamappscommonImperatorRomegamecommonscripted_guisinvest_in_state_buttons.txt

You can use:
hidden_effect = {

if = {

limit = {

owner = {

is_ai = yes

}

}

add_state_modifier = {

name = state_modification_in_progress

duration = 730

}

save_scope_as = state_improvement_target

trigger_event = {

id = state_improvement.11

days = 730

}

}

else_if = {

limit = {

owner = {

is_ai = no

}

}

add_state_modifier = {

name = state_modification_in_progress

duration = 10

}

save_scope_as = state_improvement_target

trigger_event = {

id = state_improvement.11

days = 10

}

}

}
and it should only allow you to build them rapidly, the AI will still have to wait the long time. It's important to note, when you are replacing them look for "id = state_improvement." and ensure the old id stays the same. It goes from 1-4, 10-11. Otherwise all those buttons will give the same buff.

Imperator Rome v1.4.0 Steam (GM and More) 2020-Apr-01

Post by bikeracer4487 »

Has anyone been able to use this to more permanently affect the loyalty of other characters? The loyalty option works, but it ends up getting set back to the previous value as soon as I close the character screen and resume the game. I also like to mess with the attributes of characters, to give them greater skill...but that ends up also making them more powerful which seems to make them less loyal by default, so I'm constantly dealing with generals going rogue... Wondering if anyone has found some kind of value to adjust that might make it easier to keep characters loyal...or perhaps adjusting the base loyalty in a game file?

Well, it'll grow a bit more popular over time. But I'm not sure it'll ever be a hit.

I played Vicky I and Vicky II so I'm used to not playing popular Paradox Games but I more meant less activity here on the tables front. Did you ever start a patreon like Reci?

Haven't worked on Vicky or Imperator yet.
I started doing table extensions around the time Vicky left its development cycle.
I never could get into Imperator fully, but I'm warming up to it.
My patreon is in my signature :P

I love the scripts that you all have put out for this game, absolutely incredible. There's one thing though and that's exactly why I just made an account! Is there a way for anyone to make a script to adjust factions within the Senate as the Romans. IE amp the hell out of Populist support, that sort of thing?

There is a mod that lets you change support for factions but I don't think it's ironman compatible.

Yeah editing the checksum via mods disables achievements. It's why a up to date table is a big help to play the game how you like. Paradox is probably the most obnoxious when it comes to using mods/still unlocking achievements with its "Ironman" mode, when I can just up and open dev console in numerous other games and still achieve content. Stuff like this is explicitly why people use CE (aside perhaps for mmos back in the 2000s maybe lol).

Hotfix will be coming out soon, Patch is unstable with consistent CTD's Paradox says they know the problem, but don't want to implement fix until they can test it for stability.

They always release hot-fix patches after their .0 releases, don't they?
