after reading the DOSBox Guide from erfg12, I had the sudden urge to play some old stuff and remembered my very first role-playing computergame: "Eye of the Beholder 1". The first dungeon crawler on the PC.
- no more food needed
- edit all character stats
- let items spawn in inventory
- teleport party through editing the x/y coordinates
The item-list is not an exact science. So, for example, some values change their meaning depending on the area you are currently in. A dart can be a stone, for example... could not find out how the devs decide what is waht. But the useful items are almost always working, anyway.
The Hitpoints are "signed bytes", so 127 is the maximum health a character can get. 128 is MINUS 128, so it blows the character out of its shoes
Be warned about the script which fills the food-bar, this can have side effects. The more secure way is to just edit the values of all characters to 100 and freeze it
best regards and have fun,
