If you have access to the Class ID (Character_Base+2E04), if you set it to (short) 770, that'll set that character's class to Baal. Then enter Strategy Assembly and exit out and it should update that character.

Thank you so much for this! I've been having a blast (and spending more time) modifying my generic characters to make them unique and on par with Killia & co lol. :D Is it possible to make it so you can swap out unique evilities with common ones, however? Half of the uniques are boring, and a few of the common are so powerful, they're on par or better than uniques, so it'd be awesome to have this option available.

If not, that's cool!

Can anyone teach me how to edit characters/edit units at the Recruiter into unique characters? I've looked around and tried to mess with some tables, but I haven't had any success so far. I tried to change a prinny in my party into Void Dark, but all it does is change the "status" picture. The Prinny sprite and icon are the same, and if I try using a skill the game crashes. What am I missing? Also, what is the best table to do something like this?

Thanks in advance. Looking forward to finding out what I can do with this game.

The only success I've had so far with this is by going into [Enable Pointers] -> [Character] -> [Character ID] and changing the Class ID, Change Sprite, Character Picture, Base Character Type and Character Background Info etc in order to change a character into a unique character.

Sometimes crashes can occur, however, moreso if the character belongs/doesn't belong in the party. Changing Killia into anyone else will crash the game, and removing him will crash the game, for example (been trying to remove him out after removing Seraphina, Red Magnus and Christo from my party to try a generic character playthrough but with no success).

Thank you!! This is very helpful. The cheat table I was using didn't have that many features, so it's no wonder I was having trouble making it work. Since you seem to have a lot of experience with this feature, do you mind if I indulge you in a few questions?

1- I was wondering how can I edit the skills for the character I'm messing with? I turned a Prinny into Tyrant Killia, but the skills are still those of a Prinny, and when I use them the game crashes. I found that tab rather confusing, so I couldn't do much there ( all the values/addresses are a bunch of question marks). Can you help me with that?

2- Does "Base Character Type" changes how the character will look in the base? As in, the NPCs from our party walking around in Seraphina's 'pocket netherworld'. If so, will talking to characters who shouldn't be there crash the game?

3- Does changing a character like this faithfully reproduces their attack animations? I am still in chapter 2, so I am not familiar with the plot or the characters themselves. I'm asking becauce I changed a few characters that had interesting names just to make a few tests, but their attack animations seemed off to me. As in, both Awakened/Tyrant Killia and Void Dark's regular attack animation was some kind of wobbly uppercut that hit multiple times. I assume it has to do with the fact I changed a Prinny to add them to my team. Is there anything else I should do to make them 100% like they're supposed to? Or are certain characters bound to not work?

4- I was messing with the Basic tab to try to change my characters' stats a little, but something odd happened. Whatever value I added to "Current HP" worked just fine, but nothing would work if I tried to change the "Current Max HP" one. The HP bar blinks and then goes back to the original value, both in the cheat table and in the game. Any idea why?

5- Do you know what value I should add to keep the Revenge bar always maxed, or if that's possible at all?

I hope you can help me out with these. I'm excited to try this table out, but I don't know where to start, haha. Thanks again!

Are you editing the calculated status values? If you edit those they reset. You have to edit the factors of your stats, such as shard stats.

First off, thanks to everyone who worked on these tables for us. You guys have done some amazing work

Im having trouble editing the quests. I did it before but i cant seem to get it to function properly. Now when i do it the game crashes. Is there a table with drop down quest list? And how do i successfully change the quest without crashing the game?

i just want one thing , i want to make bonus gauge to +9 each time i enter a lvl, how do i do that ?
