ally health seems to cause problems. first time i used it my own health stopped recovering, permanently stuck at nearly empty life bar, so i had to use god mode, otherwise i died in one hit. this became permanent for some reason, i think it corrupted some setting in the memory that got saved into the save file. after a second try sometime later all horses started dropping dead, possibly the same thing happened to them.

This is a bit old thread but like yarrmateys says, the health option corrupts the savegame, one way that it could be fixed is by restarting my pc and using some other trainer with a health option (I've used the one from Fearlessrevolution), i activated and deactivated the option and the health went back to normal.
