The remastered version is out. The tables highly unlikely will work on the remastered version.

^ your assumption is (pretty much) correct: prev UE was 4.x, new release is 5.5 (according to some forum). Iow this is technically a new game, meaning everything has to be "researched" again...
(and not going to happen coming weekend; got another game to tackle)

Note: i have not yet installed the Rem vs, but i've read that old saves can not be used here. And since i do not plan to play 'this game' again, I'll be "waiting" for some 'new' saves being uploaded at some time/point. If you are willing to share your saves, either link to filehoster or pm download_link... (at least with some game_progress ~5/10 hrs gameplay)
