Dungeon Travelers - To Heart 2 In Another World [Steam]

Post by Cantra »

(* Will probably work on the version available from Johren too)

This table is a port of cybertron's Dungeon Travelers 2 Table, so the bulk of the work had already been done, massive thank you! I did need to fix the Gold pointer however.

I have made some small additions, such as the text that appears in the offhand while using a two-handed weapon. I have added the No Clip and No Encounter codes from the same thread, I was able to use ytrfamli's work as a starting point but these were not a straight port.

Features,
  • No Clip - can easily softlock if you avoid triggers, use with care. Works with forward motion only so collision still works when sidestepping. Can't pass directly through dialogue doors - but these can just be stepped around.
  • No Encounters - removes random encounters and 'forced' encounters when stepping through certain doors. Does not remove boss encounters or Mimic ambushes.
  • Character Script - shows selected character's Character Skill Points, Level, Experience, Current/Max HP, Current/Max TP, Attribute Bonus (bonus stat & resistance points from resetting levels, normal max is 50), raw stats and current stats.
Additionally, in battle, if you bring up a monster's status page, their stats get loaded in too, letting you modify their current HP, very useful for Sealing since you can set it to 1.
  • Gear Pointers - full breakdown of the selected character's equipped gear, including name, +X enhancement, and enchantments. Gear enhancement normally caps at +99 but will happily let you exceed it. I'm still creating a lookup table for DT1's gear and enchants - the game uses DT2's engine so a lot of the codes are the same, but many are dummied out and will cause a crash. An item's Enchantment Start and End Pointer is listed, with each enchant being 4 bytes. If an item has two enchants, the difference will be +8, so if you want to add a third slot, you need to change the End Pointer to be +12

I'm new to the more complex memory editing side, would like to add a god mode and other features.

I'm trying to fill the bestiary out, for reasons, but the drop rates are painful. Just being able to generate the items is not enough; to unlock the item in the bestiary, that specific monster has to drop the item, and on identification, will mark it off on the monster's entry. So any of the below is what I am looking for:

- Guaranteed drops in battle. Only two things seem to affect drop rates, a Treasure Hunter's 'Treasure Hunt' skill (tried boosting above max, but this didn't help) and a party combo move which actually isn't that useful. Unfortunately the enchant from DT2's DLC 'Great Luck Fortune' item does not exist here. I have a number of workarounds to 'get' any item I want, but as above, I need a method that lets me fill out the Bestiary, meaning I must get it as a drop.

- Monster Bestiary unlocker, if I could just make the ??? entries show the item as being found, that would help. I know where a monster's data 'block' is stored (which lets me adjust WHAT they drop) but nothing about drop rates or the flag that shows the items as unearned.

- Any way of forcing a battle against a specific enemy/editing a specific formation to include specific enemies. but I can neither find any kind of monster ID in there for formations, or a way to flag their drops as being known. Being able to fight multiple of a rare enemy as a single encounter means more drops and hopefully a quicker drop of their named items.

How to use this cheat table?
  1. Install Cheat Engine
  2. Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
  3. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
  4. Keep the list.
  5. Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1
