Final Fantasy 7 - Remake - Camera Distance Modifier

Normally, the max camera distance for this game is 3. But with this table you will be able to modify it past that limit to get any value you want. Just tweak the camera distance pointer value with float values. And lock the camera value script so it won't revert. If anyone can upgrade it better, please be my guest.

The camera distance value is actually pretty different then the standard Field of view tweak. The camera looks more like og vertical style as well the more you modify it. Pretty cool.

Hope you all enjoy!

hi when I tried to change the value to 7 it doesn't give the option like yours on the menu and I got this value when I first started the cheat 3.849744447E-37.
What value should I put on the value section to get a similar result to yours?

Yeah the float value is what you have to edit. The script has a function to edit the camera distance number to keep it saved, but for some reason there's always a compile error when I try to add a function. I'm currently trying to fix it. But you can still lock the value with the script, so it won't revert. And 3.967293882E-37 is my current value.

Yeah I don't know how to fix that. But when you boot the game up again it's back to normal. That's why you use the script to lock the value when you load a save.

Setting the value to 0 helps reset the camera back to up close.

Thank you! You cleaned this up nicely! I don't know why when I change my value type to Byte on my Table it doesn't reflect the changes. I guess it's because I found the pointer address in float. But I appreciate this! And do you mind if I add this as an alternate version on Nexus for my table? For the people who need more help.

That may be true but, I still got to give credit where credit is due. So thank you.

Thank you for this, best thing ever, made the game 100X better. The default FOV is trash and kills the immersion, this game is just too good looking to have such a restrictive FOV.
