Post by STN »

Made by Warda

Hey guys,

Just thought I'd upload a copy of the Cheat Table I made for Parasite Eve II for the PSOne using the ePSXe emulator to do it.

This Cheat Table was built using basic address finding/value editing techniques.

You can find all the information you need with regards to how you use this cheat table effectively by checking out the "Table Extras" section in the bottom right of the Cheat Engine interface. The Table Extras section also includes all item codes for you to use with the Item Editor feature.

If you have any issues or general questions, feel free to ask.

Cheat Table Features:

- Infinite Health Points (HP)
- Infinite Mitochondria Points (MP)
- Infinite Battle Points (BP)
- Infinite Experience Points (EXP)
- Infinite Health Points (HP) [Follower]
- Unlimited Ammo + No Reload
- Item Editor

Updates:

Update (20/06/2014):
- Infinite Follower HP now available. Cheat affects both Kyle and Eve.
- Maximum HP and MP can now be modified alongside Aya's current HP and MP to prevent the 'Healing' spell from registering the player as 'damaged' every time the Parasite Energy wheel is opened.

Update (15/06/2014):
- Unlimited Ammo + No Reloads now affects ALL Weapons and their attachments.

Hello, I appreciate the effort of this table. :) But I have certain details when using it.

I follow the information steps in "Extras" but I can not make it work. Nothing happens, I try to modify the HP, the MP, and even use the Item Editor but it is as if the game ignored it and nothing happened.

I currently use version 2.0.5 of ePSXe in Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bits
Cheat Engine v6.7 64bits

I hope you can help me, thanks. :)

Parasite Eve II (ePSXe) [Updated - 15/02/18]

Post by JeanMKV »

Hello again, after certain trial and error hours I have managed to update the previous CT with a new one.

I just updated the old addresses for new ones, changed certain activation parameters in some Group Headers.

This should work without problems in ePSXe 2.0.5 using Cheat Engine v6.7.
(This work only with the US version of the game. It has not been tested in other versions.)

You can find the general instructions in the "Table Extras" tab.

Any problem do not hesitate to comment. :)

Really sorry to bump this but, I can't get Item Modifier to work with Key Items. Care to guide this lost lamb?
Specifically, how to put one or any card into the [Key Item] instead of [Use] inventory.

Update (05/02/2022)

Updated the table with a couple new features but mostly just tidying up.

Game Version: 1.0
Emulator: ePSXe V1.7.0

Added:
- Equipped Ammo Type modifier. You can edit equipped weapon's ammo type on the fly without needing to have any equipped on your belt before combat.
- Updated drop-down menus. Made easier to use the item editor, no longer needing to update through Array of Bytes like the old table, you can simply use the drop down menus to add/change items as you like.

I regards to this, I haven't tried it to be fair. Though I imagine it would be just a case of tracing it back to where key items are stored in memory and you should be able to use the object IDs in the list I posted above to make life easier.

What I would try is this; set a save state before you pick up a Key Item, and scan for changes. You could try picking up the item first, scanning (type: byte) in hex for the item value in the list above, then reloading your save, scanning for "0" (as the item won't be in your inventory anymore), pick it back up, scan for the hex value, rinse repeat until you can find that specific key item inventory slot in memory. From there, opening up the memory viewer window you should be able to look for patterns which will help you identify how/where these items are stored (I would imagine there is a large array of bytes allocated side-by-side for Key Item slots much like the inventory does).

I took existing tables and made one for the latest ePSXe version - 2.0.5. In order to get L rank, or any other ranks, simply beat the final boss and as final cutscenes play or at result screen put all your Skills at 0 and choose desired rank at Dropdown Menu.
And I made similar table for the first game as well. Both tables based on USA version of the game.

Hope everything works.
