Made this little table for my fav game (since 1995), for the new windows version/dlc.
The table:
gold
mana crystals
research (set it once to 1000000, and you'll research a new spell every level)
date
capital city pop
casting skill
books
all spells (0 is can't learn, 1 is learnable, 2 is known, 3 is on the list to be learned next)
enemy gold and mana
fame
retortks/perks (0 - don't have, 1 - have)

How to use this cheat table?
Install Cheat Engine
Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
Keep the list.
Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1
I found spellbooks and retorts, trying to upload my table but be gentle, it's my first time. Haven't found spells of any fearlessrevolution yet. Feel free to use this/add this to yours/however things usually work around here.
Ah, got spells. They're in the old format, 0 is can't learn, 1 is learnable, 2 is known, 3 is on the list to be learned next. They're named and sorted by group, and a script to say.. set everything 0 to 1 would be awesome, but I have never done that and don't feel like learning today. I also found a fame value, it is not the total fame, but hey, if you increment it, so does fame. Think I'm calling this my final, if anyone wants to update/improve/fancy it up/use values, be my guest.
Side notes; character creation with more than 4 retorts crashes the game, as does excessive spell books at your first turn (50 definitely crashes it). Adding spellbooks mid-game does not update your learnable spells, not sure why. Adding known spells is instantaneous, as is learnable ones even if you had finished all research already.
Hmm.. I've added 999 spellbooks at the beginning, and it works (as long as I don't check the "mirror" of my wizard).
And the amount of spells you start with/learn is edited in the "spells.ini" file in the [\Master of Magic Caster Windows\Data] folder.
Just change those [TotalCommonBook1=X , PicksCommonBook1=X, TotalUncommonBook1=X, PicksUncommonBook1=X ] to 10 max, and the [ TotalRareBook1=X, PicksRareBook1=X, TotalVeryRareBook1=X, PicksVeryRareBook1=X ] to 12, and you'll be able to pick all the spells if you take 1 of each spellbook.
Seravy is planning on adding more options to mod and change.
That's interesting, perhaps I was doing something else that was making it crash then. Hadn't poked into the files at all, could be some fun to be had there.
Awesome that the game got picked back up, and hoping they keep doing more to it. New life to what is also one of my all time favorite games.

Load Save Game
Open Cheat Table
All values are zeros; checking them and changing values to '1' produces no effect

I'm having same problem as the two others: the cheat table dosent seem to work any more? I can easily find the adresses for both gold and money again. But I can't locate the other adresses... What am I missing?
