If the first digit of the score is greater than 0, it triggers a "Bad Ending", hence giving a bad ending achievement for each character.

-set it to 400, freeze it, then start the game or restart gameplay; or
-set it to ?99 and collect a "P" to gain an option

-enable it only if Gluttonous Centipede card is equipped
-just attack an enemy to max out

-display only. To hack the boss's HP, search for the said value by 4 bytes (start address = 100000; end address = FFFFFFF), shoot the boss, search its decreased value until there are 2-3 entries left (one is the lifebar). Midbosses have 3 addresses, while bosses have 2.
-no damage from HP manipulation in this game (again...), except forcing bosses to use spell card attacks.
