Of only offsets changed it wouldn't have too much of an effect. Most scripts are array-of-byte scans meaning they search for the position then inject in. If this fails after an update, it usually means the function itself was altered and the injection spot needs to be searched for again.
As for grabbing the earlier release, it's a bit complicated but quite doable. You use the steam console (restart steam with "-console") to DL the right revision (manifest).
Then just replace the content in the game folder with the older exe/content. (Just don't replace the steam specific files and steam will still think the game is up-to-date.)
You can probably google for a better tutorial, but here's links to the manifests:

Yah I just tried, the -console method doesn't work anymore, you need to use DepotDownloader nowadays.
What makes it annoying is one of the files that's altered is 21GB... that's the ugh part.
EDIT: Managed to rollback successflly to 1.27.2 and online still works even, all they really added in 1.28.00 is a few small bugfixes and crossplay w/ EGS..... and managed to introduce a bunch of performance issues that never existed prior, bah.

I don't know one bit about how the tables work and don't wanna mess up the folks who make them with questions so I'm just going to wait until the table is updated for 1.28.00.

Also working on it now for a bit this morning, got some AOB's fixed
but this gonna be lots of work since lots of AOB's are failing.
Hope other authors will joining for their cheats.

The game just crashes and even when I change the quantity to test nothing happens

That one was still working from the old table... just tested
edit: did your select the item first, change value in CE, then select and reselect item in Nioh so the display is updated.

For those who are working on the update.
Managed to got my own scripts fixed
Missing some important scripts from other authors,
like read_player_ptr, call_equipment etc
Here's a screenshot what's left...
I do like to help others but tbh i am not very keen in doing lots of further work ...
Not even playing the game for months now

Hmm, that's weird. I just tested it again and it works fine.
Did the old script version of the script worked for you before the update?
Edit: Silly me, it seems SinGul4ritY already fixed the aobscan a while back. Just get it from his table:

Didn't test on the old version but most of the AOB scans had errors (the ones that I want to use at least like equipment stats editor) and crashes for me

Updated the script to equipment stats editor. Only done limited testing but seems to work fine for me. As always, please backup your safe before tempering with a CE table.

This is my first post. I want to thank everyone about the contribution to these trainers. You gave me many hours of this amazing game. Due to the farming needed there was no possibility to spend the hours I played. But the table you provide is exactly what I want, to keep this game as legal as possible and to intervene only to the things I label them as farming.
The three cheats I use are: Equipment affix editor, Item quantity and Change drop to specific item to get these weapon's secret drops from bosses.
By all means, do not feel pressed or hasty to update to 1.28 Just do it at your pace, whenever you feel like to.
Thank you everyone for the literally many-many hours you provided with this to Nioh 2
