Hi -

Does anybody know if it's possible to put the "Empowered Ninjutsu" effect on gear, without the other bonuses from Flying Kato+ or Marici's grace?

It's not listed as a possible effect in the table for some reason :?:

Thanks :D
Hi
if it's a set bonus effect
than no, not atm in current table
They have their own seperate data

How to use this cheat table?
  1. Install Cheat Engine
  2. Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
  3. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
  4. Keep the list.
  5. Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

Is there a way to give a sword the Sohayamaru skin? I hear that some people were able to do so in the past but I can't figure it out through the table.

Normally you can do that by setting the "Model ID" in the "Equipment Editor" to another one
in your case that should be '2F41:Unnamed Item (Sohayamaru) '
However that skin is not currently complete in this game, so you end up with a sword without visual blade.

Maybe you use an item which isn't suited for it... dunno....
You do highlight the item?
After that set quantity
and deselect / reselect it in game to (visually) update

Thanks. I'll be trying to figure out if there's a way to have the blade not disappear when sheathed.

Wanted to point out that some of the effects present in the cheat time item editor as max legit values are usually 1 decimal above the actual value possible. I don't understand how or why but things that usually deal with percentile in this game actually end at .9% instead of the round number. For example, Elemental Damage Taken is maxed at 11.9% without Familiarity and 12.9 with familiarity yet if "Max Legit" is used, it carries it up to 12% and 13% respectively. I don't know if it's the game code itself making a mess of things but I'd like to know if there's any way to prevent this lest it cause a save lock.

Edit: The Attack effect on armour also does not match the possible ranges, usually being far below the limits regardless of whether or not the "legit" button is triggered.
A follow-up on this. The game seems to "auto-correct" to specific values even when I input a legal value both in native inherent effects and tempered ones. The damage taken mentioned above goes down to 9.0%, for example. I don't know how to make the game not correct legal values.

Although it looks like their are possible ranges for "Elemental Damage Taken" -13% to -2.2%
There actually isn't... in terms of legit input values.

That's because each 'ranged' value has it's own Effect ID
in other words the effect ID for -13% is different as that for -2.2%.
And only the value listed for that effect id is legal and will be used in calculations.

for example:

Code: Select all

00003F41:Elemental Damage Taken {-10.0%}
0000CA48:Elemental Damage Taken {-13.0%}
0000C962:Elemental Damage Taken {-2.2%}
0000CB65:Elemental Damage Taken {-2.5%}
0000B14B:Elemental Damage Taken {-3.3%}
000044D1:Elemental Damage Taken {-4.4%}
see the different ID's? so for 00003F41 the only legal value is -10.0%

The only way to make value's legal and used in calculations atm is using:
Image

just don't forget to turn that on every new start of Nioh 2 before loading a save or it will reset aswell.

ps. i did tested the "remove special effect Min/Max constraints" month's ago including correct damage calculations etc
but i am not able to test your question right now ( i am on my laptop ).
So hope this explains a bit

I am currently using 0000CA48:Elemental Damage Taken {-13.0%} on my torso which, according to [Link], has a max legal value of -12.9% with familiarity and -11.9% without (assuming 0000CA48 is the code I want for this effect). This means that by ticking Max Legit and getting -13.0%, the effect is technically illegal according to what we can actually get legit ingame. I have tried to manually set it to 119 (which translates to 11.9) and after a game reset, it always goes back to 80 (8.0%). If I tick the Max Legit box, it remains at 130 (13.0%).

Does this mean that I can't actually make a legal item without booting the table and ticking "Remove special effect Min/Max constraints" every time or it will simply reset the item even though it's technically legal? Because the point of making a legal item is so I don't have to grind as much late game. I don't really wish to have the table hooked to the game normally, I just love the anti-grind features. Maybe I'm misunderstanding something, pardon me if I am.

Then I'm definitely messing something up cause all my values tend to reset. Another example, Life Recovery (Amrita Gained) 37 always resets to 0 even though it should only be a flat 16 with no familiarity and 36 with familiarity. But when I tick in Max Legit, it goes to 17 and 37 respectively. Check when you have time, no hurry. Even if it doesn't work, higher drop chance is an amazing time saver.

No the game max legit value it the one in the description of the Efffect ID with or without familiarity.
So using 130 is still legit...

edit: the lower ones will do take familiarity into account, their max values are still legal but have some subtracted from it

I have no idea why that happens for you...

I have put that 0000CA48 : Elemental Damage Taken {-13.0%} on my torso
and tested it with return to menu in between the screenshots

bigger one is with familiarity to max and the smaller one with 0 familiarity

You do manually save after returning back from the equipment menu?

Yes the Drop Rate modifier from aanpsx & groxer are a must !

ps. i don't know how the 'max data' works for effect id's
i am sure other's do

While it may be accepted, if you check the compiled information we have, 13.'% doesn't actually drop or is available for tempering, only 12.9%. It's strange, I know, but it seems to be the case. The game accepts a 130 through Max Value Legit but 130 can't be tempered or dropped ingame, only 129.

Yeah, that works for me when I tick Max Value Legit like in the picture. If used, it always goes to 130, no matter the value I give it. Which is a problem since I want it at 129 to be 100% legal. If I don't have the Max Value Legit, it always goes to 80 for me. This happens in other stats, with Life Recovery (Amrita Absorption) {37} being the weirdest one cause it always resets to 0. It can't drop at 0 but the game sets it at 0.

Pitty then i can't help you with this
just don't worry about legal values when using the the Max Value Legit, cause then the game max legal ones will be used
After a manually save, return to main menu, continue, manually save
