Here's a save editor tested on the Steam version:

Sorry about this, but I think I need some advice on how this works. I downloaded and unpacked the x64 version and it starts fine, but when I try to open a .xml save file the whole save editor just shuts down? Am I doing something wrong. I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to this sort of thing.

How to use this cheat table?

1. Install Cheat Engine
2. Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
3. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
4. Keep the list.
5. Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

There was source code floating around before the save editor that someone posted with just the save export and it had the same issue.

This is totally unsupported, unofficial hack. Since the author has not been around for 8 months and not sure of its lineage. I take no responsibility if it breaks the save.

Edit: Just realized there were 3 versions. Updated the x64 version (not sure what was different).

Page 15 = Updated versions of the editor that runs on the latest release of the game.

I've compiled all the RAW text lines for items, abilities. outfits etc. (Including DLC)
so all you need to do is find what you want and add using the save editor

How to Use (for adding DLC items):

1. Once you've loaded your save into the editor, go to items tab
2. Choose w/e item you want by clicking the "Add" button
3. once it's in your inventory list, simply replace the name of the item and you're done

Use the link in the READ ME.txt if you want to do more stuff

Be sure to always look through all the forum pages for updates to tables/editors, your problem(s) may have already been solved.
if your issue still persists, then try updating all programs involved (WinRAR)
and of course make sure the game is running on the most recent patch.

It seems after modifying a save (adding money, items, etc...) that when you level up with any of your characters in-game, none of those characters will be granted attribute points. Is it possible that the Save editor (Specifically the one found on page 15 of this forum) is not up to date for the current version of the Game (1.6.9.420)?

Just wanted to check here to see if anyone else is having a similar issue or if there is a way to fix that.

The save editor managed to work without a problem until now, but the newer saves after a certain point in the game just crash the editor. Any suggestions?

Could someone please post the un/pack algorithm instead of EXE files?
Doesn't matter what language it is written in. Just knowing how to unpack & repack would let anyone maintain it.

Did anyone ever figure out why the editor works for awhile, but after a certain point it will crash when opening a save? Have tried both x64 and normal versions of the newest one in this thread. Worked fine until shortly after leaving Colorado Springs for the first time.
