^ "future updates": sorry, i broke my crystal ball ages ago
=> did a quick check: it gets upgraded via the perks of a member. If you have a safe that has these perks not yet enabled, it might be possible to find out where it collects that info... and perhaps an update of that value could be saved permanently... (note the 'perhaps')
How to use this cheat table?
Install Cheat Engine

Lol @ crystal ball
I don't have such a save - but wouldn't you be able to make one simply by starting a new game?
You can also help him by doing this, you know. Start a save and send him when you're about to level up the perk responsible for increasing the station cargo.
Maybe I'll send him if I unlock this perk, won't promise anything, I'm slowly playing again after finishing both expansions (fifth time creating a new save).
^ & ^^: a 1 time upgrade is almost certainly not going to do it. What i meant is: you'll need to get to a point where/when it is possible to execute these 3 perks in a row; so one can scan for that increased value (leaving just a few small results).
Iow just one scan will surely still leave 100~1000+ results...
@Paul44 - Okay, I see what you mean, you need a savegame where it is possible to upgrade the relevant perks, but they haven't actually been upgraded. I will get to work on a new savegame later today. Hey, I did not aim to inconvenience you with my question (it was a question, not a request, after all). I had no clue this would be such a big task.
Edit: I totally forgot how far in the game we meet Tareen, who is responsible for the homebase size. Geez, no wonder you refused to go through that again. My bad.
I don't suppose there is any harm in unlocking the other companion perks, is there? Having NOTHING is getting on my nerves already.
@Momber: I did check my saves, but none are close to that point: either my near/initial start, and then well past the full perk upgrade. That said: i did what i wanted to do on this game (and even more), so...
Anywho: I can't recall how you get them perks upgraded; some items you need to collect ? and I just mention this so your expectations do not go through the roof: it still might fail finding the correct counter (in particular when an perk_update also causes pointers/structs to change)...
Other perks can safely be upgraded as they have no effect on the storage_size,me think (but you might want to keep a save at bay for sure)
@AgentTed: i've got no idea. If somebody understands this, then probably s/he can also explain how/when to get these 'prototype'/etc (sub)types ?!
I can't recall how you get them perks upgraded; some items you need to collect ?
Yes, but first you need to meet the companion who hands out the perks. [Link] is in charge of cargo space and I haven't seen him yet. Then you can purchase the perks, usually with a truckload of resources you don't even have lol.
Understood. No problem - and thanks for agreeing to try. I will DM you when I have the savegame ready and uploaded. No idea how long that will take, I just got to Prescott.
@jonaaa: [ viewtopic.php?p=410732#p410732 ]. completely forgot about that, my bad . did a quick compare last night: apparently 'Grade' defines these 'subsection/descriptives' ?! Anyone has an idea how these influence the stats; if at all ? if it is just visual, then i do not see the sense having it added/shown in the 1st place...
@Momber & others: the main reason WHY i do it this way, is that one can then - in this case - finialize "ranking" the normal-/game-way. Iow you/it will "force" a final upgrade as the game intended (setting whatever values it need to set in the background as well)...
~> which still might/can give the same result btw...
