This is a read-only value that cannot be modified merely by renaming. You can change it by going to Person -> Presets -> General -> Change Birth Place.
It had a bug in update 15, but it was fixed in update 16.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I was looking to increase the number of coaches my small-ish Italian Serie B club has and looked under Club > Staff > Coaching Team - this only lists the staff I currently have. My current training schedule shows half of my areas as 'Very Heavy' as apparently 16 coaches aren't enough for 25 players - I send fringe players out on loan to reduce coaches' workload. This is where I get FM'd as it doesn't work this way IRL, but I digress.

The reason for asking is due to this:
I ask the board for more coaches whenever the option is available, but the problem there is that option isn't always there. Once you request it and the board accepts your proposal (and I used Board Always Accepts Your Requests'), it doesn't show for months in-game. Maybe it is an internal cooldown for all new staff members. By the way I see 'increase staff wages' more often.

Thanks for your answer. I followed your advice and didn't see any change. The coaches remained where they were. I bumped it up to 25 from 11 - have 13/13 coaches for general/GK/fitness. I left it enabled to pass a couple of days and no extra staff spaces. I reloaded my previous save point to retry and got the same result.

I think I know what is occurring here. No matter what number I set for the coaches total, I am limited to the reputation of my club (currently 4363) and can not circumvent that. It probably explains why I don't see a board option request to ask for more coaches if they deem I have enough for a club of our status with rep of 4363.

I changed Physios from 3 in the table (have eight medical staff) to 6, which created three extra spaces when I switched from Staff to Training in-game to update the numbers.

So yeah, the limit is my club's rep. It makes me wonder if I was e.g. Juventus or any top team what is the maximum number of coaches allowed?

You can only edit the existing ones, and 'Add Club Affiliation" is not available right now because it crashes the game.
