I don't know how helpful it is but I found that the shop level points are derived by the actual points plus the static rank bonus, so it is the number of the actual points that needs to change, not the overall sum.
Sorry would you mind clarifying a bit more? Haven't dug much into CE so I'm not sure if that's something the current table accommodates and there's something else I should be doing as well..
When in the shop, you can click "details" beneath the shown value to display a breakdown. The number you need to alter is the first one in the list. It's 4byte and as far as I have seen gives 20+ results even after being altered and compared. I just SAVED THE GAME and then changed the whole list of addresses.
Has anyone been able to find the actual values for companion approval? It turns out the scripts floating around that max it also block said companion from skill progression.
Anyone have pointers for companion skill points? I think I fucked up and got all my companions at max bonds level before they have any skill point, so at this point I'm fucked since I can't use script since they need a skill point to be used before the cheat to work
Have you ever managed to find a solution to this? Am in the same boat and 11 hours in. Both my Harding and Neve are at rank 10 with no skill points. I'd hate to reset the whole playthrough.

enable infinite skill point for companions + respec them in game. the second you spend one skill point you'll get infinite that you can spend.
