@Exeter can you give me some hints about how to find the enemies ID ? so maybe i could contribute to create a mod to play as the enemies , not only by sustituting the model of course, but also porting the animations

I don't think anyone cares, and we're too busy playing Resident Evil 2. And now Kingdom Hearts 3.

I haven't really been looking into the game lately. I think most of us might be busy with other games at the moment. Right now I'm mostly busy with RE2, but once I'm done with that I'll get back into ToV. (I love ToV, but RE2 is all new and hip right now, and I loved the classic RE2 back on the PSX).

[Edit]
Hylian beat me to the punch lmao

I'd be playing KH3 if it was on PC.

Anyways, I would just like a way to get access to ex dungeon without replaying the game.

Hey everyone. I found this useful address, it allows you to use tents/mats consecutively without having to do battle.
I made sure that the address stayed the same after full game shutdown/save game load.

Note: Set it to 0 and check the checkbox for the value to stay at 0 so you're ready to use the tent anytime. Sorry i don't know how to make a better version of this, just copy/paste it into cheat engine and it should appear in the box.

Code: Select all

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<CheatTable>
  <CheatEntries>
    <CheatEntry>
      <ID>0</ID>
      <Description>"Tent On Cooldown"</Description>
      <VariableType>Byte</VariableType>
      <Address>TOV_DE.exe+117D7CC</Address>
    </CheatEntry>
  </CheatEntries>
</CheatTable>
This allowed me to get the weather I need much faster, and it allowed me to complete Repede's Map sidequest insanely (for how long it would have taken) fast.

This little address along with Always Ready to Cook are one of the best time saviors imho.
Thanks for all the other codes, cheers!

i understand, of course even resident evil 2 remake deserve attention , when you return on hacking this game consider at least to help us with some hints if it's too long or complicate , as some comments demonstrate , many people care about have that mod, i mean you like tales of vesperia so you can understand how cool could be to use duke , or clint , or spiral draco :D

why would you so desperate to play as an enemy??
you should be the hero, not the enemy... (just kidding :P )
but anyway, here the address to change the model of the character (just model in battle)
copy/paste to my character pointer table and try to change the value yourself to find the"character model" you want (but, maybe 90% it would crash tho..)
=====================================

Code: Select all

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<CheatTable>
  <CheatEntries>
    <CheatEntry>
      <ID>3956</ID>
      <Description>"Character Model"</Description>
      <DropDownList DisplayValueAsItem="1">0:None
1:Yuri
2:Estelle
3:Karol
4:Rita
5:Raven
6:Judith
7:Repede
8:Flynn
9:Patty
10:Soldier 1 (Static move)
11:Soldier 2 (Just fool around)CTD
12:CTD
=== your turn to make a complete list ===
13:
14:
15:
16:
......
</DropDownList>
      <LastState Value="2" RealAddress="7FF78EAF5C0C"/>
      <VariableType>4 Bytes</VariableType>
      <Address>_StatusChar_3</Address>
      <Offsets>
        <Offset>44</Offset>
      </Offsets>
    </CheatEntry>
  </CheatEntries>
</CheatTable>
=====================================
i'm not playing tales game since tales of destiny 2 (PSX), so i cannot help you further due to my laziness..
but if you attach some save file where your party have NPC you want to change, maybe i can look at it

There a table that allows for skill editing? I'd like to give Yuri the jump cancel ability (among others)

Geordan posted a great table for that. Search the thread or his post history.
