yeah I think editing the stats of the kingdoms ranks messes with advisor roles. Someone said you need rank 5 in one of the categories to unlock the arcane advisor and I put them all to 7 and didn't get the advisor

If you send me a save with the rank up thing I can take a look at it.
ooo did you not get that far in the game yet ?
People keep asking for fixes and scripts :p. Maybe I'll get the table to v100 and then stop haha
At least I've got a fully fledged cheat table now for when I do start playing.

I can at least say for me and I am pretty sure most if not all the other people on here that we appreciate your work.

The trouble was that it didn't just increase number of feats per level. It increased the number of abilities that you could select. That means it included things like bloodlines, of which you can only have one (and selecting several can break things), and things that there are only a few of to select, so you'd end up not being able to level up at all. And all that is if it actually let you select them since it did a different check later on (but sometimes it does let you). You can definitely add feats properly through CE, but not easily.
More than one bloodline not just multiple bloodline feats? Though I would like the former, I can see how that can cause alot of problem. the game defaults to your first bloodline choice if you try to multiclass with one that can choose one too, so you only ever have one.

Exhausting the pool of feats and not being able to finish leveling up, could maybe "fixed" by setting the feats to zero. I don't know how the function you for the script works to begin with, so maybe that isn't possible at all. :D
Warning players only to use it on there last feat selection, when it won't be a problem might work.
Unfortunately there isn't just a variable saying "allow x feats" that I could set to a different number.
Yeah, that's what I meant with moding the progression in files. A simple list like "level 1 = get char 1 feat, 1 attribute" and then the same for classes "you get that stuff on class creation". There where games like that, but this doesn't seem to be one of them.

The next best thing might be item modding. Simply creating a ring or amulet that gives a ton of feats as boni. But again not sure if the game even allows that.

As a Sorcerer who wants some metamagic and doesn't get any magic feats through his class, I am forced to use my character feats for that. Well that or cheat myself a multiclass wizard.

Hope you get to play the game too and not just doing an awesom job providing us with evermore table options. :lol:

I made a script that can always made events take 0 time (yes, that's different to the current zero-duration tasks/events script, confusing, right?). When I click on a Rank Up event I see it now takes 0 days instead of 14. But when I start it it skips 14 days! argh. And that resolution time that I modified isn't accessed anywhere else, so it's getting the value from somewhere else. Nowhere in the code adds 14 directly, either. Even more argh.

I won't be able to work on the script for a short while, so if anyone wants to take the time to look at the source code and figure it out, feel free.

I found a way to set custom Damage Resistance / -
Spoiler

Code: Select all

{
								"$id": "282",
								"$type": "Kingmaker.UnitLogic.Feature, Assembly-CSharp",
								"m_Context": {
									"$id": "283",
									"m_OwnerDescriptor": {
										"$ref": "5"
									},
									"m_CasterReference": {
										"m_UniqueId": "4bda08a5-bd8d-4563-9e00-8f64874cd890"
									},
									"m_Ranks": [10, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0],
									"m_SharedValues": [0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0],
									"m_Params": null,
									"AssociatedBlueprint": "e71bd204a2579b1438ebdfbf75aeefae",
									"ParentContext": null,
									"m_MainTarget": null,
									"Params": {},
									"SpellDescriptor": "None",
									"SpellSchool": "None",
									"SpellLevel": 0,
									"Direction": {
										"$type": "UnityEngine.Vector3, UnityEngine.CoreModule, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null",
										"x": 0.0,
										"y": 0.0,
										"z": 0.0
									}
								},
								"Blueprint": "e71bd204a2579b1438ebdfbf75aeefae",
								"m_ComponentsData": [{
										"$id": "284",
										"ComponentName": "$AddDamageResistance$1b270785-807c-4de2-813a-25d627d935e8"
									}
								],
								"Rank": 1,
								"Source": "74ad9fbd930a1d84aaf9a230f29f8f12",
								"Param": null,
								"IgnorePrerequisites": true,
								"Owner": {
									"$ref": "5"
								},
								"Initialized": true,
								"Active": true,
								"SourceItem": null,
								"SourceCutscene": null
							}
Changing the value (10 in this case) in

Code: Select all

m_Ranks": [10, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0]
will set your DR/- to the value indicated.
Tested with 20 DR/- on the 3 assassins in library and it worked great.
20 DR/- means it reduces 20 incoming damage from weapon dmg. This is applied before damage calculation for difficulty (e.g. x2) so it scales.
Keep in mind spells and elemental damage attached to weapons (e.g. flame damage from a flaming sword) will still do full damage to you. (Pathfinder rules)

Update: This resets when you level up unless you set rank to 10 as well. Then it sticks and persists.

Save editing is actually the best way to add Feats for a game like this in my opinion. The only downside is that it's not user-friendly. I had great success "transplanting" feats.

Not sure what I am doing wrong is there an order you have to x things so that I can use things you just added, because it hangs with trying to mark any of the stuff there. I tried quitting out of the game restarting both programs and it still hangs on me saying not responding then when it finally comes to it is still not marked. After going back to old programs they are doing the same thing and I know I used one of them fine before so I am not sure what happened to not work anymore

How does one eliminate this encumbrance? With Niedzielan's table for example. There's an option "Encumbrance" in several locations but doesn't seem to do anything so far, at least my party encumbrance keeps going up all the time. And how to freeze the health of all party members, meaning that it won't go down but doesn't get locked up so that it will increase with levels, for example.
