I know how to access the .txt files for the game, and read the JSON format/code/variables etc.

But how do you make sure the edits you make to the text file are saved properly to the game?

Mine keeps resetting all the variables, back to what they were prior to my edits, after entering the game.
So none of the items I generated are present!

The text file is just a resource for checking the IDs easily with ctrl+f so you don't need to scroll through the list in the cheat table. You can directly type the ID number into the "ItemID" field. Editing the text file directly won't do anything for you in game. You have to use the cheat table.

How would you go about obtaining a list of the index numbers of all the traits, so you could swap them around for ones that have multiple choice? Since the devs haven't added a re-spec option yet

How to use this cheat table?

1. Install Cheat Engine
2. Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
3. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
4. Keep the list.
5. Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

Just try them in the save file, under "unlockedTraits". In game in the trait tab, they will appear in the same order, so you can easily find the id of each trait.

There are some negative traits (for exemple 2, 4, 10) and some without description so it is hard to find the effect.

The game will load, even if the trait does not exist. Here is my list I am using

Abilities and spells work the same way ("learnedAbilities"), and you can have NPC spells.

Nice! - I've also been working on a numerical index list for the trait IDs!
I'm still missing a few of the descriptions, but I can attach the .txt file here, just in case anybody wants to use them regardless

Wonder what is the statname for Meleee.... I tried Melee and Weapon it doesnt work...

I think I found it

"damagePhysical"
"accuracyPhysical"

just thought that 'Spell' in-game is 'Magical' in codes
so maybe 'Melee' in-game is 'Physical' in codes
turns out I was correct

This game got update and they removed code obfuscation for some of the files. You can edit items and a bunch of other things.
