Meanwhile, I dunno what they did, but I love that they did: I can run the game unpacked and no GameGuard on any PC now. Yet another case of Themida used wrong - click, click, click, game protected. Not to mention game.dll itself is just packed, nothing virtualized 'n' shit. Kind of lame seeing the same mistakes and patterns across years. That's what happens when you have zero background in reverse-engineering and just play "click-clack" with commercial protector buttons T_T..

Yeah, I'm tired of releasing shit for this game, only for it to end up in SuperKid9000's Super Awesome Mega Table v18 with my header taken out so they don't have to credit me. I've met at least 3 people who think I didn't make the 'Show All Map Icons' script. I moved on to other games, can't be fucked with this shit anymore.

There's always going to be some little kid wanting to look cool or being regarded as PRO in front of others. That's why there's the common reaction of feeling belittled when someone else that has more knowledge than them talks them down. That's their escape in front of an audience: "instead of helping, you've belittled me". No, bitch, I did help: this way you know not to exert the bragging attitude in these parts.

I've been shown samples of people are selling cfemen's work in Discords, so that he had to add a fucking disclaimer they can't edit or remove T_T..

But then again, I was nice enough to ask how much time is this game still going to be popular for, hacking-wise, because my idea is super simple: release everything, how to unpack the game, kill GameGuard, etc. so that the developers get off their comfy seats and fucking change the logic so that there will be proper server-client checks. Then no one will whine anymore, cuz they won't be able to cheat anymore. Problem solved. And I don't give a fuck if I'm the one who got their hacking patched.

No offense, but you lurk around the scene for 20 years and you just get used to it. No one's gonna remember Joe shmo who reverse engineered the AC of a game that was only popular for 5-6 years. When rhe game is dead, you'll all be forgotten.

Hell, look at l4d2. I doubt yall can name a single important person in the l4d2 hacking community but that games been around for almost 16 years now.

Either you get used to the shared bullshittery that is game hacking or you find something where you WILL get recognition. Maybe give drm reverse engineering a shot. Every remembers those people.

Complaining that you're not getting credit does not further discussions nor is it relevant.

why its bother them to delete that part, and re-share..
what is the intentional..

thats why the best place to share is p2c with authentication ( even its still get leech by some shit )..
and when its all get patched, dont cry and begging for author to release their hack, bypass etc..


ive been waiting another game like Dragon Dogma 2, its more enjoyable..coop / multi things to many toxic..haha

cfemen mentioned he won't DRM (put any authentication, etc) because he hates it but it's just sad people does stuff like this but hey, better not "gatekeep" stuff or some people will be mad but anyway, it is what it is, people won't change.

as I mentioned earlier, it's an endless cat 'n' mouse game, samples are now server sided, let's see what they'll do next.
