Zero PlayerDetectionLight causes enemy HUD elements to not show up. No idea how to fix it. The function seems to be temporary anyway. I was wondering why some people I stole from like ages ago all of a sudden are hostile to me now. I had to load like 5 saves back to fix it. If you shoot someone with Zero PlayerDetectionLight on in stealth, nobody will notice, and then if you disable it, everyone will come after you. I advise not using Perfect Stealth until Zanzer can figure out a way to make this persist between saves as well.Zanzer wrote: ↑Wed Sep 06, 2023 4:56 amviewtopic.php?p=313155#p313155

LMAO, typical game hacker.. love it, I end up doing the same on switch games, barely get out of the tutorial before making cheats.. lol
Module limit doesn't work when copying parts, just placing. Kind of a pain when you have custom colors already. Thanks for all the hard work!Zanzer wrote: ↑Wed Sep 06, 2023 6:21 pmviewtopic.php?p=313155#p313155

You can run these commands or add them to an Autorun bat file:ionstorm66 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 06, 2023 9:51 pmModule limit doesn't work when copying parts, just placing. Yeah, I figured out later fSneakVisualBaseValue also affects normal detection. So enemies will end up ignoring you. Kinda screwed on that, unfortunately. If you could have it run only when the player is crouched, that might work.Zanzer wrote: ↑Wed Sep 06, 2023 11:21 pmviewtopic.php?p=313155#p313155

Perfect Stealth (fixed?)
Is the fix good even if you used the older version, or do I need to load a save before I used it first?Zanzer wrote: ↑Wed Sep 06, 2023 11:21 pmviewtopic.php?p=313155#p313155

Perfect Stealth (fixed?)
It just does the same thing it did before, just forcing the game setting, but it's still contaminated.

Alright, I'll just remove it so I don't bug anyone's game.
Ah ah , i am also quite late on the story questline as i love to explore the world and all the things that you can explore.
I am a huge fan of SF and always dreamed about a game like this, similar to what freelancer did many years ago but with a focus more on story and RPG so when they announced it i was happy but also very very pessimistic as Bethesda did released not very good or in very bad state games and i was afraid it was going to be the case here so i tried to not follow the hype and expect the least i was able too.
The 2nd one doesn't corrupt the game that much beyond the enemies not seeing you. When stealing, if you royally fuck it up, the guards will instantly react to what you did, so that way you won't have to deal with it 5 saves later like with the original method. So it's good to enable it when stealthing, but I just turn it off after stealthing. Although it's really just the same as calling setgs -9999 to turn it on and setgs -20 to turn it off.
