What would be the easiest way to add Haste (or a single Action, tbh) permanently to my character? The only options I've found in the tables are to add a temporary Action that goes away after use and unlimited Actions, neither of which I want.

How to use this cheat table?
  1. Install Cheat Engine
  2. Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
  3. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
  4. Keep the list.
  5. Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

Learn to mod a little bit, and mod your underwear:

Code: Select all

new entry "_Underwear"
type "Armor"
using "_Body"
data "Slot" "Underwear"
data "Boosts" "ActionResource(ActionPoint,1,0)"
data "ValueUUID" "53cd3b64-3988-4e5d-a4f5-d4b4ec7ba0e9"
data "ValueScale" "0.4"
data "Weight" "0.1"

I don't know if anyone will find this useful, but figure I might as well share it -- I put a simple little data browser for BG3 on my site [Link] for a friend.
[...]
Nice stuff, are you planning to extend this (spells, equipment, flags, tags, etc)?
I am asking because I was also planning to create such a web interface, sourced with my data files, but if you take the lead, that's good too.
Alright, live now [Link].

Thanks a bunch for the tool. Could you add waypoints? Just for the sake of completion?

Here they are:

Learn to mod a little bit, and mod your underwear:

Code: Select all

new entry "_Underwear"
type "Armor"
using "_Body"
data "Slot" "Underwear"
data "Boosts" "ActionResource(ActionPoint,1,0)"
data "ValueUUID" "53cd3b64-3988-4e5d-a4f5-d4b4ec7ba0e9"
data "ValueScale" "0.4"
data "Weight" "0.1"
Modding would require changing files, but is probably the closest to "permanently" you'll get. At least with my limited knowledge.

While it's not permanent, it would last until long rest, even through save/load, I would probably just add Haste as a status, that way it would be "permanent" until next long rest. Hell, if you don't care about the camp night scenes, you could even circumvent that by just spawning a bunch of "Potion of Angelic Slumber" to gain the effect of a long rest, without loosing any buffs (i.e. then keeping the Haste buff).

If it's just a single action extra you want, then it's my experience that the Character Resource Cheats > Add Resources > Action Point actually persists across saves and rests. Only if another effect changes the Action Points, will that boost actually be "reset".

Does anyone know how to remove scribed spells from the scrollbook? For example, if my class is wizard and I learned the spell "shatter" by consuming a shatter scroll, is there a command I can use to remove it from my spellbook?

The reason why I'm asking is because scribed spells seem to stay in your spellbook even after a respec, and if you are using a mod that allows all classes to learn spells from scrolls, the old scribed spells are moved to the common tab and use the old class's requirements to cast (INT for wizard, CHAR for sorcerer, etc).

I'm sure if there was a way to remove such spells prior to a respec, the problem would be gone. But using the normal RemoveSpellFromPlayer command doesn't work on these kind of spells.

This seems more like a bug to report to developer ;).

There seem to be add/remove/learn spell commands only.

Trying to do a run where my character is both Shadowheart and the Dark Urge. I tried creating a Shadowheart origin character and used SetTagOnPlayer("fe825e69-1569-471f-9b3f-28fd3b929683"), --DARK_URGE (Code, Dialog, Origin, DialogHidden, CharacterSheet) but it doesn't seem to trigger any Dark Urge options or cutscenes. How should I do this?

First a disclaimer. The following is in no way finished, so keep that in mind if/when using it. The main reason I'm posting it in its current state, is that I'm not really working on it anymore, but rather than hiding it away, I'll share what I've made, so other can use it as is, or take it further, or just take parts from it.

It consists of 2 parts.
  • The [Link].
  • The [Link].
The database is BIG: 1.02 GB. (the [Link] (39.2 MB) is still available in the [Link]).

Right now both the legacy (FormBG3Commander) form and the new (BG3Form) form is in the CT.
Opening the form is done through the menu Table > BG3Form > Restore and show. For some reason, when opening the new BG3Form, the old FormBG3Commander also opens. I haven't bothered digging into why.

The new things in the new form and database are:
  • The table/list combo box (dropdown menu) is now based of SQL views rather than actual SQL tables.
    This gives much more control on what and the way data is returned.
  • 2 new combo boxes have been added: Character and Location. These are only populated when a game is loaded.
    The Character combo box will contain any companion/hireling that is recruited/hired. The code for anyone other than the Player isn't finished (or I forgot if I finished it).
    Adding/removing passives/statuses/tags/flags etc. will be done to the specified character/location. So the default Player/Character would be the same as using the AddPassiveToPlayer() (if it's a passive) etc. But you could change the location to Underwear, and the selected tag/flag/passive/status will be applied to the currently equipped underwear (or at least it will attempt to do so).
  • Menu items, such as selecting the database (so it can be placed in another folder without having to edit the settings manually), clearing and refreshing the form fields (these I mostly used when testing/debugging).
  • Settings are written to a file bg3_cheatTable.settings.txt that is in the same folder as the CT. If this files doesn't exist on launch, it will be created. If it exists, it will be read and those settings will overwrite the default hardcoded settings.
I've never had trouble with the previous version of your BG3 Commander (big thanks again for creating it) but this version even after following all the proper steps keeps giving me this error when I try to add a passive to a piece of gear.

Error:[string "bg3setting = {}
..."]:545: attempt to index a nil value (field '?')
Error:[string "bg3setting = {}
..."]:545: attempt to index a nil value (field '?')

Any idea what's causing it? Cause I never had a problem using the previous version but this version gives me this error for some reason.
I'm facing a similar issue though I've tried some fixes here and there as suggested in the thread but to no avail. I'm wondering if it could be something to do with the BG3Commander trying to certain parameters in the game itself but due to changes, is bugging out when doing so?

Edit: Nevermind, I see that EvenLess isn't working on it anymore but advised to use the legacy version for now if you're running into issues. My bad!

Fresh Cheat Table and SQLite3 database uploaded to Google Drive. Old links will link to the new versions. Not much have changed, as I don't really work on it anymore (as I note in the quoted post). Added some more to the form and more or less completed the various "Add" functions. I mostly use it myself for quickly finding and spawning an item, or quickly finding and adding some passive/status/flag/tag to the selected character.

Everything else in the quoted post is still valid/relevant. I can't offer any help on getting it to work for those of you that have issues. I never have issues. My best suggestion is to try editing the BG3Form (or FormBG3Commander) and play around with the DefaultMonitor and Position properties on the form. You can always download a fresh copy of the Cheat Table to get back to the original state, if you mess something up.

Code: Select all

{$lua}
if syntaxcheck then return end

local class = {
"c7bdcdf2-15e7-456e-adf1-21dda3172e18", --OATHBREAKER
"d84a8a0b-b648-464c-9bd5-1ed9b965da2a", --OATHBREAKER_ANCIENTS
"d274b482-4add-4f36-a0a4-a94740f6630e", --OATHBREAKER_DEVOTION
"732db1ed-740c-4af3-8a08-7f135d3f703c", --OATHBREAKER_VENGEANCE
}

[ENABLE]

SetTagOnPlayer(class)

[DISABLE]
I'm so sorry for the very very late reply on this. But this worked perfectly! Thanks! Only issue now though, is I can no longer respec, which I should have seen coming. Is there any way to remove this tag so I can respec and then add it again after?
Is there any way, that a table user checks the table before asking a question ?
(for example Flag tests section)
So, I didn't really understand what you were trying to tell me because you replied in a somewhat passive agressive way, in the future, it's much clearer when you just respond to a question, and give someone who doesn't have a lot of experience with the table and doesn't know how every feature works, just some advice on how to use it. With that being said, I tried navigating to the flag tests section and using clearflagon player, and the command failed. This is what I changed it to,

Code: Select all

{$lua}
if syntaxcheck then return end
flag = "c7bdcdf2-15e7-456e-adf1-21dda3172e18" --OATHBREAKER
flag = "d274b482-4add-4f36-a0a4-a94740f6630e" --OATHBREAKER_DEVOTION
[ENABLE]
local result = ClearFlagOnPlayer(flag)
if result ~= 1 then
  print("command failed")
end
[DISABLE]
I tried it with just oathbreaker, and with just oathbreaker devotion and both times I got the command failed error. I'm not sure if your post was trying to say it doesn't work or that command should work, again it was kinda unclear.

Without having tested it try this:
Thanks for the attempt! IT didn't work sadly but I appreciate the suggestion :)

Code: Select all

[code]{$lua}
if syntaxcheck then return end

local class = {
"c7bdcdf2-15e7-456e-adf1-21dda3172e18", --OATHBREAKER

"732db1ed-740c-4af3-8a08-7f135d3f703c", --OATHBREAKER_VENGEANCE
}

[ENABLE]

RemoveTagFromPlayer(class)

:dry:
I literally have the uuid list downloaded on my phone and used the find feature to look through it and used my pc to go through for about 3 hours trying to find it. there seems to be things missing and asking here prior someone had more info than I did. but I would be grateful is there's like an updated uuid page somewhere because I'm lost.
