FearLess Cheat Engine

I encountered a peculiar problem with this game. In order to get the True Ending, you have to beat all 6 sub-bosses, one of which requires you to complete all the Apprentice Notes to even find it. And those notes require very specific items. Here's my problem: some of those items are nowhere to be found.
I spent literally bloody hours running through all the floors of Rosatempus in search of that bloody Monkey's Paw. I reckon I fought nearly a hundred encounters and walked over nearly a hundred shimmering treasure tiles, but not once did any of them drop a Monkey's Paw. Not a single one. I refuse to believe the RNG is THAT bad for me.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? Or did I break something with the CE table?: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7900
I did end up with a couple of valuables stuck at 50 with no way to get rid of them since the game won't allow you to manually discard anything tagged "valuable"...but even if so, why would that have any effect on Monkey Paws?

Well what do you know, found that stupid paw on my first NG+ walk through floor IV of Rosatempus. Still don't know if the problem was something Cheat Engine broke, or if that paw can only be found in NG+, but there it is. Whoever designed that game should be ashamed of themselves.
