I think the latest version of the game has removed ACP altogether The recent update.

If you've not updated to 1.60 and still use 1.51 (as in cracked version), then sure, ini still works.

Hey!

So I tried out the method that you pointed out in your first and second posts to restore the ACP.

Restoring the ACP and being able to play with it is my goal.

However, I couldn't make it work. It always leads to the installation of UbiConnect, and I'm never able to launch it through Uplay.

I read everything you wrote afterwards. Yet, I'm not sure which solution still currently works? I'm a newbie and also a bit confused.

Could you please point me the direction that still works? I'm super confused, sorry!

Take your time and read the entirety of the first post. It is explained in detail what file to use, where it is (the ini) and how to edit it. According to the user above you, the ini method still works, whereas you open it, edit values and then apply in-game in real time (or some will restart the map). That's all. The DLL and old UPlay installer method won't work anymore as Ubi has blocked off older client versions.

EDIT: Yeah, still works. What he didn't tell you is you need an Animus Hacked save-game. Won't work directly, without any analysis and editing, on a regular save-game.

MOdifying acp.ini in a non previously acp saved game hasn't worked since the day uconnect kicked in.
