allows Cheat Engine use on the Battlebarge, and CheatEngine/Trainer/modified PAK use in hosted Private Operations (PvE). cannot be used in Public Operations (PvE), Private Operations sessions you do not host, nor Eternal War (PvP).

i have only tested this in a Private, solo Operations/PvE session and did not get kicked. the rest, i'm assuming.

please report back with any issues. if you feel like it, please test! invite friends to Private sessions on the Battle Barge, then launch a mission and see what happens. try it in PRIVATE!!! PvP sessions.

Whenever I try to launch the game with the batch bypass, it will say it's launching on Steam for about a second, then it will cancel. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, I thought I followed the instructions to the letter. I did replace all the default directories in the batch file with the appropriate ones, since I have the game installed elsewhere, and the photo seems to indicate I did do it right based on the last line? The earlier lines confuse me though, they seem like errors.

Edit: I attempted to use only the bypass method without the batch file and it just crashes on launch.

Edit 2: I attempted to revert it to the original files, and even then it's not launching the game at all. I'm going to validate my files and see if the game works. I've checked my processes to make sure the game wasn't already running as well.

Edit 3: After validating the integrity of the files through steam, I opted only to use the bypass method without the batch file, and it seems to be working fine now!

5. copy any modified PAK files to the PAK directory, and change their file types to ".pak_MODIFIED" and ".cache_MODIFIED"

6. copy the original PAK files in the PAK directory, and rename the copies to "default_other.pak_ORIGINAL" and "default_other.pak.cache_MODIFIED"
there arent any .paks in the file I downlooaded just the .exes.

If there aren't any pak files, then skip the step. The pak files are for mods you downloaded for the game.

you do not launch the game with the batch bypass. that BAT file merely toggles the state of the game between original and modified.

or... did you modify the BAT file to launch the game?

regardless, the ORIGINAL files and the MODIFIED files are all you need. if you're having difficulty, do things manually per the BYPASS INSTRUCTIONS.

those error messages in your image indicate that the BAT file can't find start_protected_game.exe nor Warhammer 40000 Space Marine 2 - Retail.exe. i think your path might be incorrect.
