There should be no issues....🤞

Search is functional.

H20 (black) and Milk theme are back!. H20 has been set as default for everyone.

Remember if you don't like it, you can go to your User Control Panel (Click on your profile/avatar at top right) then going to Board Preferences. Switch to any of the three (prosilver, h20, milk).

You also have the option of using GreenHouse's theme with prosilver.

You can try my dark theme, but you need an extension for it. The link is in my signature under this message.

I think this H20 theme looks pretty sick. Thanks STN!

not for al(.

I have already written to you in the mail about this bug twice in a couple of years, but they ignored me.

OS WIN 10 x64 LTSB / FF 78.0.2 + UBO (It does not affect the search results. I tried to disable it, the result is exactly the same.)

Do you have javascript disabled in your browser? Or using some sort of noscript?.

If not, try refreshing the search page.

On Firefox search never loads exactly on this forum version.
On Chrome works fine, no matter which version this forum had.

I searched and it seems mostly Firefox users have issues with it, chrome seems fine.

I can't replicate it on any browser but i don't use any script blockers so that might be why.

Will try to see if there's a javascript less version or any other way this can be solved.

For now, you can refresh the page and the js will load eventually ie if you don't have js blocking.

no noscript / JS works as expected.
Updating the search result page does not help.

As I understand it, you screwed up Google search, instead of the standard regular search engine in the forum engine. but somewhere they made a mistake.
If you are interested in fixing the problem, I will continue to research it and ask friends of the phpBB specialist.
if not, then for myself I already made a "crutch" addon https://klikr.org/aee5b2c50ced2482aae2e0e27269.png
with such a command: https://klikr.org/fa26246d2043b03e0648e03208a0.png

code in text:

Code: Select all

https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Ahttps%3A%2F%2Ffearlessrevolution.com%20
it works like this: https://klikr.org/02dc7b60d6e440612817dcc5228f.gif

but I still would like to solve the search problem for all users who are simply silent and searching manually. /imho/

Huh? It doesn't load at all even on refresh?

Do this then. In your browser developer tools (right click > inspect element in any browser), check the console and network tab when you refresh the search page and see what error appears.

You will easily know what's blocking the Google javascript or why it's not loading. Also the script is async so the page doesn't wait for it to load, you might need to wait a few seconds if for some reason you've slow connection or response from Google.

Also i believe this is done in an iframe so if your browser blocks iframes, that's another reason why it wouldn't work.

PS: It's not a phpbb problem or FRF server issue. Everything that's on FRF loads. The issue is between user and Google js and user browser.
