Unfortunately I don't have any table to share as all I do each time I play is manually find the address for the first slot in my flagship and experiment from there.

My process example:
Put 1 unit of Schnapps into the first slot
Open the assets.xml file and search the GUID for it
Use CE to search for the Schnapps GUID
Replace the Schnapps with Work Clothes
Search the GUID for the Work Clothes
Use CE to do a next search but this time with the Work Clothes GUID
Rinse and repeat till I get a small number of results and enter the Jack of all Traits GUID into each address until my item becomes Jack of all Traits.

Your result may vary though as this is a very crude way of doing it.

Hopefully someone will come out with a more efficient way :)

Got ya, tried it and worked.

Here are the IDs i used. (Used Flings trainer for all goods)

Chassis: 1010211
Hops: 1010194
Pearls: 1010256

And Jack of all traits: 192074

If anyone needs them and doesnt want to check asset.xml

Sadly it doesnt work for Zoo Animals and items for trade unions and harbor master even when I I use the same type, ie a harbor master item for another harbor master item or from one zoo animal to another.

I noticed that this way is definetly not the proper way and there is something missing. Cause you can slot the jack only in the freight slot like the wares (wood, stone etc.) where he should be able to be slotted in the item slots from the ship.

So the game thinks he is still wood/stone. Tho He works proper in regards of giving the necessary traits for expeditions.

For now this redneck ghettofix will do for me, since i allready said i only want that item for expeditions. This way you can sent your tiniest ship and wont fail any expedition.

Just sent out expeditions with him and go for the world fare and you will get Zoo/Museum/People which are properly usable.

Its atleast "something" for now.

Is there anyway to cheat in more of the decorations you can get from the world fair? Because it's a massive pain in the butt to do an entire world fair and get a single 1 x 1 tile which is just sort of worthless.

encountered a "bug" with Jack yesterday, for some reason unknown to me but I think its due to the way we "cheated" Jack into the game, after an expedition, he is able to be slotted into the item slot as per normal characters from the cargo slot. thinking that it might mean the game somehow registered Jack as a normal character, I left Jack in the item slot and sent my ship on an expedition. Unfortunately it caused the page where you choose the action to take during the expedition to not show any actions to take and stuck there.

So those using this cheat, do take note to just leave Jack in the cargo slot.

Okay, i havent played recently but this could also be just a bug within the game and not related to him. You could try to load a save before and do the same again to see if its persistent or just a one time thing.

If you try it let us please know.

i deleted the whole save game list thinking it was a bug and started a new game remembering not to do it again. So far leaving jack in the cargo slot works fine and since on a cargo ship i have 6 slots, i never bothered to move jack around lol

Would be awesome to have a table where you can add a certain item to a ship or island inventory.


By items i mean the modifier items that can be used in town halls etc.
