You can only edit during story battle missions only. IT does not work in Crossing World missions such as tower, and it does not work in spiral of destinies (the one that requires key) it only works in The fools journey (the story missions) You can edit hp and stats. I don't know enough about CE so it's not easy for a beginner. HP is easy since your health can drop and you can keep scanning. The other stats are much harder and I don't know much about pointers or any other method I just know they do work in story. (Also you have to scan with Double)

I can confirm that Crossing World and Tower are server-sided missions, so this not work sadly indeed.
But besides Fools Journey, I was able to make it work at Spiral of Dentinies too.
And yes: HP is easily modified, but other stats are not easy without a pointer cause they don't go UP and DOWN frequently as HP does.

Editing the tactic points is actually quite helpful too in fools journey.

The real problem in this mode is the lack of Stamina to continue playing.

Yes the lack of stamina in this is annoying. Compared to most games early on you have such an over abundance of stamina and don't usually run out for a 2-3 weeks.

The CD is turned based but being able to cast the huge aoe every turn is pretty broken. Scan initial value using double. Use something, scan new value. Edit value spam the huge aoe every turn. (don't kill your own units)

I've been poking around the game for a while now and based on what I tried only the HP whose value during the battle is editable will work for both destinies and fool's.
I'm still at the early phase of the game so I haven't reached the TP system yet. But the funds, forging materials, stamina appears to be server based and will all revert back to its original value the moment you changed them. Even if you manage to tweak the value for a moment the system will return an error code if you try to purchase something based on the edited value (eg. I edit my forging materials to 100 and tried forging more than what the original forging materials I had can and the system throws a system error with a code).
Looks like the game is pinging the server from time to time.
