Yes, won't last/stick. Char attributes come from a fixed table per character class that is fetched after every level up. Storage changes will reset the game after a few reloads (but not always next one). What they don't monitor is buffs and experience basically.

Hmmm true, edited stats when leveling up, stats will return to normal values. and if the stats value are frozen in the modified numbers and the system is reset when leveling up, those stats don't work anymore.

I tried changing the weapon stats and it worked, but if we log out and log back in the stats return to normal. but there is an advantage of weapon stats, that is, every weapon stats has been modified and our character has leveled up, those stats will last without even a system reset.

in conclusion, if you are chasing damage while playing, it's a good idea to edit your weapon / armor stats etc.
if you log out and want to play again, all you have to do is re-edit the weapon stats to a high value.

In the middle right of Cheat Engine under the dropdown menu of "Exact Value" is Value Types. It is also a dropdown menu showing Byte, 2 Bytes, 4 Bytes, 8 Bytes, Float, Double, String, Array of Byte, All, and Grouped. This determines the area of the scan's focus. Certain values are certain types. In this case; the values mentioned above are stored in a numerical fashion in the 2 Bytes & 4 Bytes method. It determines not only the loading style of data, but also the limit of what the data can be modified to. For example, a simple Byte value cannot go above 255. But 2 Bytes can go much higher, etc etc.
