My extremely limited knowledge led only to client crashes when attempting to modify in-game Resource (Health, Sanity/Willpower, Passion, Wealth, Reputation) values, to an never ending loop of pointers and to confusion over card hover states so any pointers in the right direction would also be helpful.

Had the same experience, hopefully someone more skilled will be able to create the cheat table.

Game crashes each time I change or freeze a value. Really frustrating. Why is RDR2 easier?

Get dnSpy. It's really neat to see the unity code. Great videos on youtube for how to cheat with any game running on Unity.
