[Request] Pentiment

Game Name: Pentiment

Game Engine: Unity

Game Version: 1.0

Options Required: I would like the ability to edit backgrounds in order to get all of them. I think these backgrounds are only flags checked to display certain dialogues. It would be awesome to set all backgrounds on one character to avoid having to do a re-run.

This could be made by editing saves (but they are binary files), or in-game

Steam Website:

Other Info: If no one has time to do it, would you mind pointing me in the right direction on how to hack a unity save, or edit values in-game? Thanks a lot! :)

It seems save files are .lvl extentions and cannot edit with notepad++.

+1, also would love this.

EDIT:

You can press ' to open console. Then write: AddBackground bg_

After writing this, you can press "Tab" to cycle to all options, giving a way to add all backgrounds.

Am using it. After adding all backgrounds, character screen don't open normally, but the game runs with it and gives all options.

Open the console, then type Advancetimetohour (not byhours), then X (hour of the day you want to go to), then 1. So for example in order to travel to 1PM that day, you would type advancetimetohour 13 1, then press enter. You can use that trick to do every investigation and have every lunch in one playthrough.

With that command, you can move backkwards and forward in the same day.

Morning hours can vary depending on the day, but the usual time division after that is 11/13/18/20. When you teleport to a relevant hour Andreas will say something like "I should investigate" or "I should find someone to eat with".

Hey I’m new to using such tables and really not good
at this can you do a step-by-step for this as when i open the console and write “AddBackground bg_” there is nothing to cycle through. The only thing it gives is AddBackground bg_Guid and then nothing happens if i press that help pls.

Found this on the interwebs

Microsoft Store %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.OE-Missouri_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData\wgs

No idea how to enable the console though

Yes, I also assume the savegame in here, but I have several 100 folders with HASH names. The Steam version instead is saving them as normal savefiles called Slotx_y.savegame. So even if we would have a steam savegame, I wouldn't know how to make it compatible.

Is there a way to change the persuade checks to always succeed with some console commands?
