Is this still supported? I am coming back after a few years and when last I used it, it worked... now it doesn't seem to do anything.

Also you can easily hack Gems, Gold and XP by following MBRKing's Post in the first page. To convert decimal to hexadecimal values I suggest googling an online converter (RapidTables for example) or go [Link].

Before everything, create a new char and play the game as normal. Once you reach the first town, talk to the elder and you should get the sword.
Now follow the procedures closely:

1) Talk to the elder again and after some chat the first quest should appear ("Brave the Ruins"). Keep the window opened and DON'T accept the quest. Instead, switch to Cheat Engine and search for AOB (Array on Byte). Copy the codes below:

GEM-REWARD_AOB: XX in HEX = Current Gem Reward (which's 5 = 05 in Hex)

Search AOB:

that first quest is 3 100 200 so its 03, 64, C8 problem is i cannot find the xp for 200 im not sure what you have to do

I can confirm the gem cheat is still working, though the 1st quest rewards 3 gems instead of 5 gems so it will be `03 00 00 00 ....` instead of `05 00 00 00`.
On a more important note, after I did that, the games throw an error saying:
Newer Profile Found. There is a newer version of your profile on the server. Please restart the game to receive your latest progress.
Clicking Okay close the game, and it will keep on happening, I suspect they detect cheating now. The only way to get it fixed is to contact their support as mentioned in Steam, which kinda turn you in for cheating.

Can confirm that the gems, gold, and exp cheats DO still work, but I can also confirm they are detected per what paullightman said above. Within a few hours of using the cheats, I got 'Newer Profile Found. There is a newer version of your profile on the server. Please restart the game to receive your latest progress.' message every time I start up. Clearing the game, reinstalling it fresh, etc, doesn't change it. It's not an IP-based ban since I can use my main account from my mobile, but I can't even change the logged-in account from this PC. So in short, don't risk it.
